Surely this will be the hardest "self"-imposed challenge you do in Galaxy. Right?

What I most hate about most of the retellings of this day, is that it just COMPLETELY glosses over what made it so once in and lifetime and incredible. The fact that all 10 teams with post season aspirations either played for something that day, or played other teams playing for something that day. The Phillies and Yankees being the locked in one seeds but playing one of the potential WCs, and the two and three seeds actually playing for the 2 and 3 seeds still up in the air. The fact there were no byes back then, and yet somehow going into the final day of the season not one playoff match was known has never and with the new format will never be duplicated. The other thing I hate is that the Cardinals winning is treated as a free game, when another team on that same night, by that same score, allowing even less hits at the time, will end up losing.

I’d highly recommend watching Luxin’s video discussing what the finale meant and making sense of it and Aionios in of itself. See, everything on Aionios did happen. These characters existed and had lives that came and went, as their souls were stored in Origin. The weird thing is that time did freeze, so technically no one really died as Origin reversed the world collision back to just before they collided. However, the characters that we know and love did die due to Aionios and time progressing in that still world. So they are just as old as they were when the worlds stopped, even though all that crazy stuff happened. It’s complicated. But it definitely IS a happy ending overall.
