Snapdragons are called "puppies" in my country. Because of "woof woof!" I guess.😅❤

You are like 3 weeks ahead growing time from me so thank you for all your videos!! I was just thinking (while looking at all the bean flowers on my plants) that I will need to do this ❤

Herb hanger? Where do i buy that?
@anikejulien727320 сағат бұрын
What would you say is the difference in texture when you reheat food after it's dehydrated versus being freeze dried? I know you've spoken about the nutrient preservation, but if you could talk about this, it would be helpful.

You inspired me to do a blanket too! I was wondering, how do you weave in your ends? I weave in mine as I go but the very ends sometimes peak out. Idk how to keep that from happening.

Be careful with growing lavendar, or using lavendar, around cats. It can kill them, unfortunately.

Ahaaaa I knew I should have blanched my carrots before freeze drying to avoid the darkening color on the finished product.

Why do you blanch before freezing? Honest question
@Nick_frusciante23 сағат бұрын
Hi. Thanks to prior scalding in hot water, the decomposition process of the harvested vegetables is greatly slowed down, as the activity of some particular enzymes is inhibited. In this way the shape, colour, flavor and vitamin content of the vegetables are preserved for longer in the freezer. The heat of blanching also inhibits microorganisms.

Waiting until after the first frost is an interesting tip. I tried to time things to plant a few weeks before first frost, but it was delayed, and that might explain some of the issues I had this year. I'll try waiting this fall. Thanks for posting this vid!

If you do end up crocheting a border, it would be cool to make it with the one that wasn't used yet just so it doesn't feel left out
