How much does one vote matter? More than you know. I'm a radical centrist political activist I will never stop talking about elections. I live in and was born in Florida but I'm a native Netizen of thirty one years. I find it funny that social media and the internet rots the average parson's brain but solidified mine.
@pedroba762 күн бұрын
Haven't watched the full video yet nly but about election and social media: Something I was talking about, on twitter, precisely a few moments ago, was that, as someone who is not a north american, the very fact that USA democracy is based on basically only 2 parties, is something that already, from here, looks flawed to me.
@pedroba762 күн бұрын
Like, the very structure of "2 parties only/binarism", looks weird, as someone who lives in Brazil.

The compulsion aspect.... I'm starting to think that's why I'm a "strange 5". A bit of an odd case, having spent most formative years of childhood as an only child with workaholic parents, let's to my own devices largely, I'd just immerse myself in all the books and educational materials I could find. But then at the age of 7 a sibling was born, then two other ones in quick succession. Suddenly I have been re-cast from a spacey child prodigy into the eldest daughter who should be responsible, helpful, understanding and patient. A very odd situation. Dealing with people's needs, especially emotional needs, exhausts me immensely but I feel a deeply rooted sense of duty to attend to it, otherwise a sense of guilt overwhelms me. It's very weird. Maybe it's why no ennea type seems to "explain" my struggles sufficiently, since the conditions that have shaped my personality have changed drastically halfway through.

I've also become a "soda vegan"(just a joke), don't drink soda anymore, for quite some time, already. (Maybe I would even become an actual vegetarian/vegan for the ethical reasons, but I'm not the one who buys and cooks food here in the house, and vegetarian/vegan diet and replacement of nutrients, according to what my nutriotinist teacher said, is too inconvenient, you have to take injections and such.) (And only +1 person not buying meat, would barely make a difference in the local and global market)

I was never fascist, I took a page out of Mel Brooks playbook and turned people I say as my opposition into a joke where the setup is: Some actual racist fascist argle-bargle. Call it out as something only an idiot could believe because it's obviously dumb but you know who does? and the punch like is: Fascists bundles of sticks! Hal, Hortler, herp ah derp ba derp! I was raised moderately Republican but over my life I've become a "radically centrist" libertarian, lolbertaian! Freedom of choice, expression, association, speech are very important to me. Nothing is scared, everything is and can be satirized, lampooned, investigated, scrutinized and I will be to its own standard, made transparent and and hely accountable. Question everything! Trust nothing and no one, not ever yourself! Verify with multiple sources, perspectives that support and oppose. An informed decision is the best decision and you can only make an informed decisions if you have information and never assume you have all, the most accurate or the latest information.

What works for me are fruit flavored seltzers and certain flavors of red bull (the white one). The red bulls still make me anxious but it's because of the niacin and not the caffeine or sugar (niacin is the stuff that makes your skin red or itchy in workout drinks)

Red bulls taste great but I steer clear of any caffeinated beverage. It's what works best for me. Cheers!
@jealousyofthesun20 күн бұрын
@@OsakaSyndrome btw there are some red bull ripoffs in other countries (it is originally from thailand I think but they have some in the middle east and south america as well). I've had a few them and they taste the exact same and feel mostly the same(slightly less carbonation though), they have less sugar and no caffeine as well depending on the specific drink. hopefully they make their way over some day but they are sweetened with local plant extracts that can't grow in most of north america, so they will probably be too expensive for anyone to make or use a different formula

I didn't know this so I'm looking up some stuff on google about this specific claim. And it seems like it's possible for diet soda to contribute to prediabetes. "The results of the study showed a 67-percent increase in the risk of type 2 diabetes in people who drank diet soda daily. While these are observational results and do not prove a cause-and-effect relationship, diet soda is unlikely to be the best option for people looking to control or prevent type 2 diabetes." "In conclusion, there is insufficient evidence to support or refute claims that ASBs or NNSs contribute to poor glycemic control in diabetics." "This study supports the importance of sugar-sweetened beverage consumption in the diabetes epidemic. However, the results support previous studies suggesting that switching to artificially sweetened diet beverages may not lower the risk of diabetes, as diet soda consumption cannot be ruled out as an independent diabetes risk factor." Damn, this looks grim. Thank you for pointing this out. I will pin this comment as to not any misinformation.
@jealousyofthesun20 күн бұрын
Its true but it's generally only a problem in people predisposed to it or who consume way too much sugar in the first place I've read
@ayumukasuga959719 күн бұрын
@@jealousyofthesun That's what it seems like. From Google. AI Overview No, artificial sweeteners do not cause as significant of an insulin response as sugar because they do not raise blood sugar levels, meaning the body doesn't need to produce as much insulin to regulate glucose levels when consuming them; however, some studies suggest that long-term use of artificial sweeteners may potentially disrupt gut bacteria and potentially affect insulin sensitivity in some individuals. Key points about artificial sweeteners and insulin: No direct blood sugar increase: Artificial sweeteners do not directly raise blood sugar levels, so they typically do not trigger a large insulin response like sugar does. Potential gut microbiome effects: Some research suggests that regular consumption of artificial sweeteners may alter gut bacteria, which could potentially impact insulin sensitivity over time. Individual variations: The effects of artificial sweeteners on insulin response can vary depending on the individual and other dietary factors.

The sweetener of choice in the American beverage industry is High Fructose Corn Syrup, a seed based oil. The amount of seed oils used in the processing of almost all modern foods leave me feeling like I've been eating a mix of sawdust and metal shavings. We need another agricultural revolution. The most underrated part of being a PC user is that when you sit up straight - your entire consciousness is more logical. Smart phone can be used lying down, so you are usually in a low self esteem position while lying in bed. Sitting on a chair with back straight = upright posture, chest out facing the world - So you become more higher self esteem It sounds like a bunch of wordcelling, but it's true lol, you only know when you experience it.
