funny how there's always someone claiming to be vegan who got sick on these comment sections, I'd be interested to know exactly what you were eating day to day for you to blame veganism for your malnourishment..

@@bazza5699 I ate a very balanced and varied diet, a typical day would start with a smoothie consisting of banana, kale or spinach, avocado and peanut butter as a base, plus smoothie blend additives like spirulina and matcha, then whichever fruit I felt like that day, plus oat milk. Lunches were typically light since I spaced out smaller meals between then and dinner but they’d be some variations of large salad bowls with nuts and seeds, berries and meat replacements like smoked tofu, hummus, with rye bread or crackers, that kinda thing. Then I’d make whatever recipe looked good in a vegan cook book, or experiment, but that could massively vary from stuffed roast butternut or aubergine, pasta dishes with vegan pesto and feta, vegan pizzas, risotto, thai curries… I didn’t skimp. I felt amazing for months, but then I started suffering with fatigue and constant malaise, low grade fever, muscle pain and fainting. My blood work showed that I was anaemic and deficient in b12, vitamin d and calcium. Aka malnourished. I had been supplementing iron and b12 but they put me on high strength scripts plus thiamin but I didn’t feel better until I caved and started adding bone broth into my diet. It’s unfortunate but that’s just how it went.

@@lucid6891 responding to this one first, it's more likely people aren't getting a balanced plant based diet and this is the reason for their sick-ness, rather than eating a balanced plant based diet and getting sick because of it.

If you put a bowl of candy and a bowl of veggies in front of a human, I bet the human would go straight for the candy. 🤔Therefore humans need to eat candy.

Feeding a cat a vegan diet is absolutely harmful; they're obligate carnivores and must eat meat to survive. Dogs are omnivorous scavengers and therefore may do well for a time on a vegan diet, however I'm certain that after a while you'd start to see health problems.

It's not the same thing at all, supporting trans children is about the mental health of the child in question, not the lives of literally billions of animals.

@@freshairkaboom8171 More bonkers ideology. There's no such thing as a trans child. There are kids with gender dysphoria who need therapy (a tiny number) and there are kids - mainly girls - who are victims of a social contagion stoked by influencers on the internet; and then there are the parents, some with transhausen-by-proxy, some tragically misled by ideologically captured medical staff. I don't really care what you feed your poor dog - it's not going to be the subject of a major medical scandal.
