Thanks again. I just don't understand why Tableau decided to make this default. Clearly, anyone coming from Excel would instinctually want a data point for each field in in row. Smh...I'm guessing it's less data intensive for Tableau. But that's just being Tableau centric IMO. Def not customer focused on that it seems, unless I'm missing something.

Hi, you can drop Measure Names to Columns and Measure Names to filter section, select those measured fields you want to display in text table chart. Now, drag Measure Values to Text in Mark Card. Now, drag Measure Names to Color in Mark Card. - choose the color from the options. This step will change the text of the measured fields. However, you can’t give separate color bands to measured fields. However, if you still want different color bands for each measured fields then create separate heat map for each fields and merge them in dashboard. Let me know if you still have any doubts.

Thank you :) God bless you! Imagine you had an integer column in this data. How would you go about sorting the table based on that integer column (ascending or descending) after breaking the grouping with index()?

Hi @sonOfuniverse: you can sort the integer field by standard functionality of sorting: choose field or manual sorting option.

Hi!! Tableau 10.0 + versions supports pivot function. There are 3 ways to pivot your data. Check if any method works for you.

Right click the arrow on word, select copy and then again right click -> paste on Calculated Field. Or Press Ctrl + C and then Ctrl + V in Calculated Field.

Means I want to apply positive negative only on 2 measure values out of 4 measure values.

Urmisha, Maybe you can help me to solve a problem. I wanted an empty transparent box to be able to generate a URL action. I thought about your solution but if I remove the text from the textual sheet, the clickable area disappears. And it should be completely transparent without content. Any advice?

Hi @Superman20000, its tableau standards you need to follow. However, you can work around formatting. Here, you can keep the textbox background color and font color same. This will create the impression of transparent depends on your dashboard theme. I would highly recommend to work around formatting. If still any issue then drop me an email.

Amazing video. Simple and easy explanation. I have a query.. I have a dataframe which contains 20 uniques Ids.. based on that Dataframe I want to run a For loop using .unique () on a master dataframe which contain multiple instances of these unique ids.. to create subset in a loop for 20 of them. Hi… Even for multiple sheets, this method works when there is no data to display on the dashboard. For this you need to re-arange the location from the layout and floating sheet direction from the more options. Thank you for watching the video.
