is very confusing to me the part of the towers, i dont know wich i need to pick 6:38

During the part it is boss relative position (boss would be the new north position). Normally PF groups does the order of R1, H1, H2, R2 with R1 being on the west side if the towers are left to right (west to east). If the towers are front to back (north to south), R1 takes south, then H1 takes the 2nd, 3rd & 4th would be taken by the melee and tank instead IF the towers are spawned close to boss, otherwise H2 and R2 would take them.

I jumped into progging this as my first current - ish thing harder than just regular trials. (Well, besides p5 which I gave up on after like three pulls) It was fun!! We made it to the enrage and now I know I can do the mechanics 🎉

Those of us who did this way back in HW as Thordan Ex had a bit of an advantage clearing unreal, as the mechanics are all the same. Just took some remembering of details. Was a real blast from the past nostalgia for me, this was my first real ex trial clear back in HW when I was but a nooblet paladin, level 60 for the first time and finished msq. I still have a screenshot from then, with my awful UI and all.

This was considered one of the hardest trials in the game back in the days. I think it still is to be fair, considering all the latest one seems easier in comparison.

Yes, long as you stay range, if you are in melee, you get killed pretty easily.

That's the first time I see this strategy for 'yellow+devour'. The marked person runs under the boss and gets pulled, but not devoured ? Or am I missing something ? This could make the fight much easier if you don't have to run to a briar patch and heal the dots...

Really simple actually, the marked person get as close as possible to the boss, similar range to the "sumo" knockback move done by Titan Ex. Soon as you see the boss turn, run straight forward and the devour will miss you. You watch closely how I dealt with it @ 1:17. Note that when the boss turned, it will stun the person with the yellow debuff unless there is a briar patch underneath the boss.

That was exactly the video I was looking for, and your channel is great for a main WHM like me ! Keep those videos posted, it helps a lot ! I have a question though, I see that your bard uses Shadowbind when the Renaud is on a correct position. What if you don't have a Cursed Voice to paralyze him soon enough ? Is that auto-wipe ? It looks like it depends on his spawning location, which is random, and I don't like RNG in those mechanic-heavy fights ! :)

Hello there Charly. Thanks for the interest in my videos. We decided to use our SMN to kite the Renaud as BRD has more burst damage over SMN on the snakes. The SMN handle all the Renauds in this fight and noone else touches the Renaud. When an Renaud is spawned. The SMN focus target it, and when it is in position "B" he uses Miasma. Swift cast here also helps when in tight situation. The Miasma will keep the Renaud in place and it will literally stopped moving. The SMN will just need to make sure he doesn't cast Miasma on Renaud if it has already been paralyze as the dot would kill it. Once the Renaud is in pleace, the healers will to paralyze it with voice. When a new Renaud is spawned, and kited to the position "B", the SMN just kill the original Renaud (which he had previously focus targeted), then re-do the focus target the new Renaud.
