It would seem that skilful hand at this high level would utilise only the very best available top line from GRS like suppliers to produce such superb work. However the engraver's answer is desirable pl.

How did you do that outside pattern? Did you use a flat graver on that bright cut line?

Since no answer by the engraver, can I indulge in noting that thus is a flat graver, creating a 'zigzag' pattern by 'wriggling' the graver as seen here. This technique is widely utilized since year dot. It works well.

Just to make a point or 2,: . this is a highly unusual position for an initial to be engraved here. . Scroll work appears to be placed in opposite pointing directions, whereas in majority of lettering work point downward. Good demonstration. Cutting is confident, however, body of the letter could do with thinner effect on descending strokes. Certainly the engraver here is capable of producing higher quality work

Something about script, when cut widely in monogram work, take away from attracrive effect of fine lines. Just a singular opinion.

This style of text is nothing seen by me until now. Although practicality in actual cutting the letters, it is more suitable for calligraphic work, it offers a fresh dimension for engravers as a challenge.
