My ancestors, the MacDonalds, left Bornish on the brig Alexander in 1772 bound for Isle St. Jean, now PEI, and on to Cape Breton Island eventually. Life was hard in Bornish as it was in PEI and Cape Breton as it turned out. Things haven't changed much. Thanks for this lovely video.
