@fatimarivas484 ..they did creak, and there were a few ladies there asking the guide about the haunting of the house. The stories of the past do attract people to the house.

I sincerely believe Brushy Bill was Billy the kid. I just watched an interview done by William H Tunstill with Ola Everhard who is Jessi’s James third cousin. She has letters from Billy. Jessie James knew Billy since he was seven. Billy’s father his real father, by the name of Roberts fought with The James boys as one of Quantrills raiders during the civil war. They knew Billy well all their lives. Billy was born William Henry Roberts. Catherine was his mother’s half sister, and her Maiden name was Bonney and her first husband’s name was Macarthy and her second husband’s name was Antrim, thus Billy’s alias. Plus he had the same scars as Billy and he could say where and how he got each one. Also he could slip out of hand cuffs. Because he had a minor stroke when he went before the governor to ask for the pardon that had been promised him, and couldn’t answer their questions. He was terrified and this brought on the stroke. He died shortly after from a heart attack. He was Billy the kid.
