Hayley actually lost 2 babies. Her and her partners experience is both devastating and beautiful. She has 2 boys now, Raven and Kingston. Kingston was born a few days ago ❤

Gross. This woman needs to check her patriarchal tinted glasses, this is patriarchy in its modern manifestation- the likelihood that a woman will defer to a man, particularly one who alleges objectivity and can speak in a manner that appears intellectual but actually isn’t, is extremely high in the context of journalism as we know it today. Newscasters, journalists, tv personalities, they will always come back to the status quo. To avoid being ostracized or alienated by a large portion of viewers, of course this women, faced with personal questions about her own life, on a national screen, will be unable to actually verbalize her real feelings on the matter and by way of escaping the uncomfortable, one-sided critique this dumpster fire of an excuse for a “man” forced upon her, she agrees. Let’s not forget this dudes daughter ascribes to trad wife philosophy, this is not an objective, scientific observer, this is a threatened, highly passive aggressive, entirely subjective and subjugating as it were, pseudo-intellectual who ascribes to a narrative that is archaic as it is offensive, simplistic as it is ignorant, and assumptive as it is obscene. Duck you Peterson. Just duck off. Fo real do.

Look at how hard the Muslims who lived with the Prophet Muhammed, who were obidient shine, they won the afterlife and God gave them this miniscule earth too, from east to west. Since the only thing you care about is this earthly life if that is your criterea of succes than God gave it to peolle who didnt care about it and didnt even aim to it, aftrr they entered this religion. A learned muslim would never call you muslim! So what is a learned muslim compared to a ignorant muslim? And what are the transgressing muslims compared to the Nobel?

I am so glad this women has children now. My son changed my entire life and started me along the intense journey of becoming an actual man and not a perpetual boy. The worrying and trauma of raising him is making me hard-hard. Not pretend hard but genuinely hard and when life comes knocking when he brings trouble to the door (which most boys do, let's face it) I hope I am hard enough to deal with it.

So this guy degrades a career single woman who sacrifice of getting married just to provide a good service to her community . Conclude that being single forever directs to total sadness by these these so called Psychologist who think of themselves so great to dictate someone how to live our lives.

I am beyond 45, never married, and yes, it does get lonely.
@annmarieknapp9 ай бұрын
A psychologist and professor here and this man annoys the hell out of me. I do have a child and parenting was an absolutely brutal and devastating experience. My son is profoundly autistic, is 22 and has cognition of a toddler. He lives in a full term care facility and I love him beyond life itself, but it is awful that I could not cure him. I am 54 and I feel more lonely having a child I can't even have a simple conversation with than if I hadn't had a child at all. Men do very well getting married and having kids. They are happier than are women who are married and have kids. It is lonely for ANYONE in life after 45 Jordan. Give me a break, you think this is specific just to women? There are no guarantees and having a child is the hugest sacrifice you will make and it doesn't guarantee your partner will stick around. Over 80% of marriages where the couple had children with disabilities fail. My ex had an affair and abandoned us. So, what this guy is selling to this women is a bunch of garbage. Honey, you do you.

Jordan your talking to an ignorant child. You gotta talk to him like he’s 3.
@dipsikhadutta50139 ай бұрын
"It starts to get pretty lonesome in life after 45" Yes you are going to be lonely if you dont nurture close relationships with people and have a community. But that is one of the most important aspects of most childfree people I know, to build meaningful relationships with people who doesnt necessarily have to have your genes. How well you are going to enjoy parenthood completely depends on how good you are at the abilities required to keep a family going, which are rather personality traits than growth. Do not project your happiness into other people and make them think everyone else will get as happy. One script is not for everyone!

I respect JP tremendously, but his thought on this issue I feel is one sided. My family is a disaster… my moms family is torn to pieces and I don’t even know my father and his side of the family. My grandparents families is a disaster to. There is a lot of generational trauma. My mom was almost nonexistent while I was growing up and had to raise myself. She dated and married many times and I was badly abused by one of those men. I vowed then that I would be the end of this bloodline. The generational curses die with me.

Yeah she had a baby 6 months later. Happy for her. But how many of these single childless woman are going to be able to do that… what man wants a 40 year old woman to have a baby with? For most it’s too late… and they probably would stay with the father. We are in sad times and there is no light at the end of the tunnel.
@Jennifer-ls5ke10 ай бұрын
I just think of all the single mothers I know over 45…. They had the kids. Still lonely. I also know women IN marriages who are desperately lonely. Don’t get me started on domestic violence situations… while I appreciate he is kind here, and is speaking from his heart, the message is too simplistic. Marriage and kids are no guarantee of happiness. If happiness was that easily won all married women with kids would be ecstatic. Sorry to burst the bubble.
