Good video. I'd like to add that if you are just doing an explicit proxy where you pass the ssl traffic instead of intercepting it, and are getting ssl errors, make sure you can get to the outside first by doing a http get from the command line and hit google, etc. If you can't, make sure the firewall or wherever you're next step is allows traffic from your proxy. also make sure you have your route domains set correctly on the bluecoat for outbound traffic on your interface.

What is advantages of Bluecoat Proxy ? I compared web-filtering bluecoat proxy to Fortigate and Watchguard. I think some application bluecoat has, some fortigate has, some watchguard has. Just only compare Web-Filtering.

Proxy will enter memory regulation at 80%. So to have warning level at 90% is pretty much useless

Also worth noting is that you need to have an SSL Intercept trace layer if you want to include policy tracing of rules on that layer. The Web Access layer would not include those SSL Intercept rules.

Just worth mentioning that when specifying the source in the Policy trace, you don't use the IP address of the ProxySG. You specify the source IP address of the client you wish to perform a trace on. In your review of trace_test you can see that this is consequently changed to 172.16.94.26.

Next time please do not mix up rules and layers. :)
