So s Bahn ticket does not work for bus and u bahn?
@ulrike9978Ай бұрын
In case you still need the answer - no, the ticket types are the same within the MVV, so including the S-Bahn. They just look a little different.

Hi, what about buses and trams? is the process of getting tickets the same?
@RoamingGoose5 ай бұрын
Hi! I haven't tried buses or trams in Munich, but they are operated by MVV. From what I understand, you'll need to validate your ticket on board the bus or tram.

Is business class on Montreal-Ottawa route usually at the end of the train? During my last trip ( on the Siemens Venture set), our economy car was at the front and right next to the driver's room. We heard lots of honking, and it was annoying. I guess it's because there's too many intersections?
@RoamingGoose5 ай бұрын
Business class is usually in car 1, but I've never paid attention to whether it's at the front or the end of the train. I'll check next time.
@wsytch48795 ай бұрын
Well, light meals are offered for charge in economy class, and a sandwich could be enough for lunch. And also you can bring your own food that can keep you from hunger for longer for less money, like a sandwich from grocery store. And even if you eat after getting off the train, either at the station or at a fast food restaurant outside, 15 dollars probably will do. The hot meal from business class looks very nice, but they are probably already cooked before boarding and reheated before serving. If it's a longer route like Ottawa-Toronto and Montreal-Toronto, I may choose Business when I want to eat on time and enjoy some quality food, but for short trips like Montreal-Ottawa, I'll definitely choose economy.

Thank you so much. We just returned from Munich and we were so glad we'd watched your video. It really helped understand the different transport. Indeed, the trains in Munich can be complicated, partly due to the variety of services offered. I'm glad to hear this video was helpful and that your Munich train adventure went well!
@borstenpinsel5 ай бұрын
May I ask what the issue was? There are maps everywhere. In every station platform and in every train above every door. The only confusing thing is the S1 to the airport and there are verbal announcements for at least 5 stops thst you should switch wagons if you want to go the airport or to the town Freising.
@lblades435 ай бұрын
There were vertical maps on the walls that we found confusing. Not the traditional network map type but ones that listed the town names that told you which line to get on. Yes, there were signs EVERYWHERE. It was overwhelming at first but we were getting better at it as the week went on. It was a learning curve, at least for us😊. I'm not knocking it. It was a great transport system. It was just a lot to learn.
@borstenpinsel5 ай бұрын
@@lblades43 ah yes. These are mainly used in the U-Bahn/underground. I've seen them in many cities around the world and they would benefit from a mini network map with the branch highlighted. So you know which platform goes where, after you studied the transport map.
