Yes, we do. We had to put in a new built transmission in this year. If you do get the Tahoe, we recommend you to take it to a shop that tune out the factory torque converter lockout, upgrade the transmission cooler and have the updated transmission thermostat from GM. Also, if it’s in your budget do the DOD delete and don’t just shut it off with a handheld tuner.

Whats the code for the pcv valve, did you have any oil consumption issues prior to changing the pcv? A lot of folks out there including myself is confused on diagnosing a bad pcv as sometimes it doesnt throw a code.

It was P052E00 with the OBD11, yes it had high oil consumption and also with the engine running the oil filler cap had a suction to it. It might be on its way out..

But it's on and all functional. I was curious if u got to use the winch yet and how the lights looked at night.i might try it out this weekend.@@TheWorldCruisers

What’s the oil consumption rate on this car? Do yu get maybe 3,000 to 5,000 miles every interval before having to put a whole quart in or wha? Thinking about getting me an A6 with the 3.0t in it since my B8 A4 used to consume oil like every 200-300 miles .
@TheWorldCruisers

Well it depends on the mileage and condition of the motor. I will say it’s a VW/Audi thing to consume oil which is why you should always monitor your oil level. I always recommend to doing your oil changes at 5k miles instead of the 10k miles.

While I agree with you, I would also like to add that it’s just a band-aid because the poorly designed factory lifters are still in the engine. I would recommend doing the complete DOD delete kit with replacing the lifters, plugging the oil passages and have it tuned.

@@Slo_N54 I have a 2014 4.3 and did the pill flip. Works good so far, but the converters are cheaply made. A trans tech on youtube said you should remove the stem by pulling it out or it may loosen and cause problems. It was a Cottmans trans tech. I also pulled the pan , changed filter and had a drain plug welded in. Some techs are reccomendeding replacing the TC with a billet TC.
