Thanks to the Yamaha Genos 2. I inspired this request song when I first saw Peter Baartmans demonstrating the Genos 1 and as his first song he played: Fragile (Sting) with this rhythm style. Why not give it a try with this song. Thanks Peter for everything! This is why the Genos 1 & 2 is one of my favorite keyboard arranger.

Congratulations. I have this E-80 at home, it is an amazing keyboard. Unfortunately Roland no longer design & assembly arrangers with same quality and technology like they did until early 2000's.

For me, the E80 and G70 was one of the best arranger -keyboards from Roland. Indeed unfortunately Roland does not make something like this anymore, they should definitely make another one.

So sad to have lost Peter so early in his life, a Master musician and gentleman, a wizard on the keyboard. I can never understand how they can put a man on the moon, but can't find a cure for cancer. For Peter to pass away at this age, what a waste. Unfortunately I never met him in person, but have watched every video on KZbin and will continue to do so, keeping his memory alive for me and I'm sure many others. RIP Peter.

Hello. I can exactly remember, it was 2006 (1st April). It were the great time in the Frankfurter Messe Forum hall which Yamaha had it all in the ground floor. Peter, Michel, Martin unforgettable times :)

Get the roland BK7m arranger module now It still is aviable !!! all the legendary style,s and sounds all the best of the best from roland in a box from e-86, g1000 ,G-70 ,Aex7 and latest intergra SN-sounds.....hook up your favorite midi key board/e-piano(only one ch need) and enjoy full 4 live and a 12 arranger ch arranger like the G-70 .THEY WILL NEVER MAKE A FLAGSHIP ARRANGER AGAIN !!!!!!!!!

Very well done! I love how the voicing and the mixing are so close to the original. How did you get the notes? By ear? If so, do you have any tips, since I have sometimes problems hearing what an instrument plays when it drowns in the mix. Thank you!

First of all, thank you for your response. To answer your question as briefly as possible, first of all, I follow my own personality. In order for the arrangement to be as close to the original as possible, I write everything out in broad strokes by listening for a long time because I am definitely not quick to do this anymore. I am also not the person to lie around copying all the arrangements but with many songs the original is just the best. To write out the original arrangement as best as possible I played the mp3 slowed down in my Studio One 6 recording software. It took me 1 month to achieve this final result without editing & mixing which took me 1 day. Finally, I want to say that I will never really be satisfied and will always adjust and improve things and above all keep practicing, practicing, practicing...Have fun!
