Jack of Plate is good? I'm a solo player (so far), have been playing for about 200 hours, and can make my own Jack of Plate already. I have not even been focusing on leveling armorsmithing.

It's fine enough? I had worse than that when I first entered pvp. I've since slowly upgraded my gear by looting better geared people in pvp.

Sorry you feel that way. We only make do with what we have to get our pvp fix and are not braking any game rules and all waiting for the actual pvp update coming this fall.

First of all you seem to be missing the point here, which is the RP: The clan I am a part of has claimed the area and it's resources and patrol the area for poachers. The Naked Runner you see here is conciously taking the risk of being killed by entering the 100% Full Loot area (= pvp flagged on entry) naked, to not be risking their gearset. The runner also already has Steel tools (the pickaxes), which means not a noob. Also you seemed to have missed the RP happening in the chat when she returns to her corpse.

So, you're saying, "If someone risks coming to the PvP area, knowing they may be assaulted and robbed, they should be forced to allow you the time it takes you to hit them with arrows (minor damage) long enough to kill and rob them"? Unstuck takes time to execute, AND has a cooldown. I'd say you just need to get better at locating and killing them off before they can outsmart you. ;0)

No, what I'm saying is there should be a similar timer and/or prevention of the unstuck like the Home shrine teleport has (that one breaks on taken damage) It's a Full Loot pvp area, entering to it you give consent to being attacked and killed+looted on sight. Prepare, fight back or flee in a way that gives the attacker a chance is what I'm looking for. This was just pure cheating.

I saw on Reddit that if you're locked on to an enemy player, you will still make contact even if your character is not facing their direction. (As long as you're within range) Have you experienced or tested that? Great video!

I do have a couple more vids here to show how I both win and loose against better equipped people in the same area. Entering Lyonesse is a concious decision to consent to full loot. Nothing to cy about and an ambush without any invisibility is a very valid tactic. 🤷‍♂

I'm so grateful to have found pure iron ore deposits in a PvE zone 😂 ... I also experienced the inability to sprint recently. Happened after being attacked by a hostile NPC

I'm ok with pve being easy mode with spells. It's just for gearing up really. The real game will be pvp when we have baronies and kingdoms etc to fight for.

Umm those are icons of the time for Alpha1. Those food icons no longer existin the game and the buffs they provided also have changed since then.

That was during Alpha 1 in November 2023 and fall damage could be "cheesed" This does not work anymore. :D

Not all of the armours my character wears in this video are available in the game right now. Those sheaths were part of the armours made in Alpha 1. Quite a few of the armours were changed for Alpha 2 and don't have these looks anymore.

This video was made in November during Alpha 1. That piece of cloth is not in the game now, I think? It used to be one of the cloth hats.

I did not build the steps myself, but he ones who did, used short stone foundation walls and placed them inside the cliff so only the top is shown.

First comment on steam page says everything you need to know about this slop. Devs creative vision involves you making the game for them. Early access should be either removed or vetted better.

Thanks for the review 😊 i haven't played crossout for years I'm gonna give it a download for XB1. Quick tip for future reviews tho, some people like myself like short to the point reviews of games, however.. Most people want in-depth reviews by going over every single aspect and feature, with some comparisons to older versions. Again, i like the vid but also having longer reviews alleviates some of the problems you might need to re-explain to people in the comments, ie the P2W side of things. Other than that good vid 😊

Sorry to hear you feel this way. This short video was made during the 1st alpha november 2023. Combat displayed is the 1st placeholder added to the game for players to be able to damage pve entities. Combat has progressed since, and is in active development.

Looks like my comment on p2w got people's attention, so here are some thoughts: It's my personal opinion, that _ANY_ paid _ADVANTAGE_ , be it an item, faster progression or pre-built car that gives you _an edge_ over players in the same frame of game experience makes the game pay to win. Also I just found out that after lvl 30 Your PS- brackets change... no more noobville, even if you wanted to stay there. And higher lvl players don't bother with starting level vehicles, so basicly game stops there for me. I don't even want to go into PS 8k+ matches. I don't have the needed parts to create those monstorisities they play with, and being sealclubbed is not my way of having fun.

The short answer is the game is fun if you are in it for the ride and not in a rush for the end game. If you want to rush to the end game then you'll have to open up your wallet. But a player can have fun at any power score when the matchmaking is fair. You don't need end-game weapons to have fun. Yes, the game is flawed and needs to be fixed, like matchmaking and seal clubbing. But it is still a very fun game.

There was none in the alpha 1. Combat wasn't the main focus of that alpha though. We _ARE_ expecting some kind of dodge and parry for release, but nothing definite has been revealed yet.

Thanks for the comment and concern. It's more of a first view after 1 week of playing and I did play it a lot more back in closed beta. It's also not a review about knowing the game in detail, it's about if it's worth to even start playing, which I honestly feel it deserves. :) If you are a very hardcore pvp-centric gamer, it naturally works very different. If again you're a casual gamer, having fun blowing stuff up with a couple mates, it's a completely different game. 😁
