Cracking gig. I first saw them in January 1991 at The Joiners Arms in Southampton on their first full UK tour. Wednesday evoked some memories I had totally forgotten existed...

This, along with the previous night, were my two favourite gigs ever. Such a shame I'll never get to see Shellac again, I even had tickets to see them in Bristol but alas

Even though this is a Springsteen and Patti Smith song I feel it channels Jim Morrison the Doors.

Nice one on getting this! I was a couple of people away from you by the looks of it, and I missed recording this because I figured we'd get it the 2nd night but we got Gloria!

Sounds like it’s about Ogre from another band. He once said my mother (all of this is alleged for now cuz I have to say that) who may have joined the m*b wanted dirt on Astley but none could be found. Anyhow I might not have long and it seems a lot of other kids we grew up with passed away. Ogre was our childhood babysitter so we grew up in rock n roll. Kids sometimes helped on songs or contributed songs so their story couldn’t go away as they suffered under my mother… I did too. Abused and kept as basically a hostage my whole life, I’ve had no freedom despite my fam having helped put the Statue of Liberty here. Many other kids didn’t either and now are gone. One example was AP, Arthur Park, who may have been a famous dj & songwriter. He may have helped write Beaver Patrol in his teens where he may have predicted his own d. I could not find an obituary recently. Others I could not find one for too. Alexandra who was k’d by the forest park guy I could still find her news story… my mom may have made a number of bad connections in the underworld. The DC sniper may have taken shots at me when young. Seems my fam has all been dy*ing too & idk how long I have now. So to make it harder for them to cover up mine too, I’m sharing some of the stories behind famous rock songs like this for those interested so these kid’s stories don’t go away, cuz rock n roll is supposed to have a message and some of these songs were theirs. My Growing Up In Rock N Roll playlist. My Music playlist & Morning coffee playlist has more of the story. Seems my aunt they also brought to a diff state d’d shortly after they also brought me up here injured after a car accident needing medical care. Anyhow since a bunch of us kids grew up in rock n roll, but now they might not have any justice if I di*, I’m sharing those stories I want fans to SAVE COPIES of. In case anything happens to me. Cuz idk how long I have. No one has come to help rescue me and I need medical care badly. I’m basically confined to my home after a car accident. Anyhow let’s not let these kids to have di*d in vein. Sometimes bands gave us a voice. I may have helped write La Mer as a kid. So I think they were selling songs before us kids even started doing it. Some kids may have helped write suffering you about my mother… I’ll attest to the life penicillin joke having been made by her cuz I was there that day! 2 wires thin may have been about a kid she signed up for illegal human testing as a minor! Like stuff that sick where these kids suffered at that level. And now their stories might never get justice if anything happens to me, so I’m sharing the stories behind some songs for those rock n roll fans who wanna help make sure we get answers to what happened to some of these talented kids! Rock n roll is supposed to have a message and this was theirs so their stories couldn’t go away. The sitch is urgent and needs immediate attention… idk how long I have.
