A lot of people are sleeping on Michigan entering this year but that will change when Orji starts throwing dimes & bombs to Moore, Morris, Walker, and Morgan. Also has Colston Loveland & THE DON for the checkdown throws.

This goes directly to every "NFL Expert / Analyst" Each and everyone who made embarrassing claims like "Bo Nix has questionable arm strength" or "Bo nIx was a 2nd round pick" have finally exposed the truth about themselves. A truth that I have known for 20 years. 99.9% of every "expert" and "analyst " are completely ignorant above the game of football and how to evaluate talent!! It has gotten to the point they are all laughed at. The stupidity that has been on full display by these "experts" about Bo Nix has literally become comical! From what I can tell these people are just making claims and comments about Bo Nix and they haven't actually watched him play the game of football. There is so much video compiled of Bo Nix playing the game of football that the only conclusion anyone who truly understands the game of football is that Bo Nix was the best NFL readyvcollege QB in 2024 and Bo Nix was the only QB in the 2024 draft that you could see truly understood his offense, how to read coverages and most importantly got the ball out ontime making it nearly impossible to sack him!! The best quarterbacks in the NFL ( Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Broch Purdy, etc) execute each play as designed and only improvise when . Even then the ball usually is out based on their progressions These quarterbacks only improvise on occasion but most of the time the ball was thrown and distributed very quickly based on play design!! It's as if these NFL "experts" think coaches judge and want players that run around the field and just "make something happen " ! Anyone that has ever played or coached football is fully aware that playing by the seat of your pants is NOT a successful strategy!!! Methodically chewing up yardage one piece at a time relentlessly inconsistently is the perfect strategy!!! Understanding the offense while exposing the defense with your eyes and motion is what coaches want!! The only truly successful QBs in the NFL follow that exact method. Exactly like their offensive coordinator designed it!!! Exactly what NFL teams that have won the Super Bowl due consistently. We all know that the news media today reports literally the opposite of what the truth is politically. Unfortunately they now do the same thing even with our beloved Sports!!

@larkwyll735125 күн бұрын
Would love to hear critics of Bo Nix explain how he lacks arm talent, or how he is a Day 2 QB talent, looking at the throw he made in this tape that starts at 7:34 left in the video. Incredible back foot running away dime to the corner of the end zone to his receiver for a TD while moving away from pressure and throwing off-platform. Anyone that thinks Bo Nix doesn't have arm talent or creative ability is an idiot.
@larkwyll735125 күн бұрын
It's crazy to me that NFL evaluators and analysts that watch Bo Nix's tape somehow come away unimpressed and label him as a Day 2 talent. It's absurd. He executes at a very high level, has touch, can move around, can play in the flow of the offense, tough build similar to Will Levis (maybe not quite as jacked which is a good thing), can make all of the throws and does, can throw off platform, quick release, decisive, excellent decision making, extremely low turnover rate, high accuracy with the exception of some stiffness in his back leg that's easily fixable with coaching technique and I'm sure he's aware of it, has plus arm strength for an NFL QB. The consistent accuracy shown in a myriad of different throws in this one game alone is damn impressive. Outside fade routes dropped in the bucket, Wheel routes to RB's throws dimes, inside slants, dimes, off-platform over the middle of the field throws with high accuracy and strong velocity. It feels like in this draft cycle that evaluators got stuck over-glamorizing the widely considered 'top-3' QB prospects in Williams, Daniels, and Maye and formed a bias against specifically Penix and Nix to try and elevate the skill level, talent, and production, and upside of those other guys over them. It is laughable that NFL evaluators and analysts thought of Penix's arm talent as a Day 2 QB prospect. Simply ludicrous. He has the most arm talent out of any of the top 6 QB's drafted. I'm personally a big fan of Bo Nix's tape and playstyle and I'd have taken him above Maye and McCarthy and Penix and would really have given thought about him compared to Caleb and Jayden. Depends on the system and what their scheme and wants were as a coaching staff. One thing negatively I do see from Caleb Williams' tape is his lack of height does seem to impact at times holding onto the ball too long and not ripping it over the middle. Caleb is very talented but NFL evaluators have been bucking the long tenured data that shows that sub 6' QB's don't have much of a history that projects to elite NFL QB play. For NFL players in history that are sub 6' that made playoff pushes of note and were considered elite franchise guys it might just be Russel Wilson in the history of the NFL, but I could be wrong about that. I loved watching Doug Flutie play but I was young during his era and don't remember him being considered an elite franchise QB type. Getting back to Bo Nix, he's going to prove a lot of NFL evaluators and analysts and being wildly wrong about his talent level and NFL QB chops. He will vastly outperform expectations. He has the 'it' factor that the good ones require in the NFL to be consistent cold-blooded clutch players. If Bryce Young was in a re-draft vs Bo Nix, I would take Bo Nix and his skill set over Bryce Young any day of the week. It's so silly to hear so many smart analysts and NFL personalities bash Nix during the draft lead up and put some of these other guys on pedestals with inferior play and production.

I saw every snap from the 2023 season, his offensive line should be benched wholesale. I can't count the times where he had immediate pressure from 1 or 2 players most plays and in some it was total jailbreak. It reminded me of Bears OL in 2010 when Cutler got sacked 75 times. When you have to drop 40 on every opponent to win, he's going to look desperate from time to time. ND is a really good team. I've seen Tom Brady throw 4 INTs in a game. That doesn't define the man. Williams usually is very careful with the ball, something it seems he mimicks Aaron Rodgers who is the cleanest QB i've seen INTs wise. That being said, the NFL is harder. But he landed on a good spot. He isn't being thrown to the wolves like Bryce Young was last year. All this hero ball bullshit is what happens when you have the worst defense in big college programs. Even you look at highlights, USC is always 1 or 2 scores behind. They didn't let him keep a lead in 90% of games. And it wasn't like he was compromising the defense comitting a ton of turnovers. He needs to improve his ball security, but that is only an issue because his OL couldn't block a group of 10-year olds.

What a terrible game against a very mediocre team🤦🏾 People wanna throw out in Michael Penix because he struggled against the best defense in college football that had six players drafted this last season, but nobody wants to point out how this guy struggled against Maryland, and mostly struggled against Alabama? I’m a Vikings fan and I’m very concerned
@Big10footballjunkiesАй бұрын
JJ was so injured that he literally didn't practice the entire week before the game and barely practiced before the OSU game. He trew for 3 TDs and 221 yards on a team that mainly runs the ball. JJ you will be able to see what he can do in the NFL. Be glad the vikings drafted him.
@romain8390Ай бұрын
@@Big10footballjunkies the OSU game? Are you recalling that game correctly? Or are you talking about a different here, because last year he threw a single touchdown versus Ohio State. He threw a single touchdown pass to Roman Wilson, that was a fluke, the safety turned around as he was throwing the ball, in the NFL that’s an interception. He was great for Michigan, I don’t deny that… But that doesn’t mean I think you translate well with the NFL, particularly because of his lack of ability to anticipate windows, whenever he throws 10 yards or more down field, or anticipate breaks by the receivers and throw the ball early and on time… It shows up so often to where he sees a downfield play, but he just doesn’t pull the trigger or throw accurately.. I’m very concerned, and I hope Kevin O’Connell can coach him out of it
@Big10footballjunkiesАй бұрын
@romain8390 I was talking about the Alabama game you referenced. The OSU game he could barely practice the week leading up and didn't practice the week before that as he was hurt in the PSU game. That's why they ran the ball 38 times in a row on them. The NFL scouts disagree about his abilities or he wouldn't have been drafted where he was. Only the media thought lowly of him and as it got closer to the draft they moved him up and up. There are no risers in the draft process like that. The media just starts to understand where the NFL thinks of these players. Rick Speilman has talked about it many times that they make minor adjustments after the season. Nobody moves a round for an NFL teams draft board.
@romain8390Ай бұрын
@@Big10footballjunkies well, I can’t take their opinion of NFL scouts seriously anymore… These are the same scouts that come up with draft boards that say guys like Baker Mayfield and Josh Rosen, are franchise quarterbacks.. I like coming to my own opinion over that of NFL teams these days, because an NFL team took Daniel Jones sixth overall, and thought Kenny Pickett was the next big thing after Joe Burrow.. I’m not inclined to believe what they say just because they take a player high, or believe that he should be taken high. Mitchell Trubisky was once considered the second best player in the draft by an NFL team… not just the best quarterback, but the second best player in the entire draft. I don’t like feeling like a fool after listening to the scouts, so I come up with my own conclusions. But if you don’t believe me, I’m more detailed analysis, what was done by the guy “thinking football” here on YT. Maybe if you listen to him break down the strengths and weaknesses, you might believe something different… Because I think he knows more than me.
