Being disabled with M.E., raking leaves is one of the hardest and most painful chores. Even though I suffered badly afterwards with exhaustion and pain (this basically happens with EVERY chore, whatever i try to do), this was far, far easier to use as a rake, then my metal one! I was really surprised! The huge downside though, is that I cannot seperate the rake into two, or even one side of it. It's just too stiff! I have a lady that does the majority of the gardening. When she came over to rake the garden properly, even she found it REALLY stiff, and at first couldn't separste it at all. I bought mine from QVC, and at the original price, (which i paid) I don't think it's worth it. My gardener had her own, stronger plastic rake, but after finally separating my rake into two, she used the two bits to gather up the leaves. It's not worth the postage cost of returning it, so begrudgingly, i have bought a 2nd one, in the sale, so that i can keep it for just the picking up of the leaves.

Where are the squirrels? This seems like a perfect attractant for them. We can't keep them off of suet feeders if there is anything around they can jump from and we have to grease the pole.

Good for him, but he should've just defended himself and not tried to snap back. The man doesn't like to be bullied, but you have to be able to negotiate. With a little finesse, he probably would've gotten a deal at 35% and massively boosted his business.

How in the world do you keep squirrels out of that?
@grumpygardener44202 жыл бұрын
If you have regular squirrel visits to your garden we suggest not hanging the feeder under a tree, from a branch or where squirrels have a ledge to hang from to get to the jars. We have our feeder hooked onto a nail on the fence. The feeder moves about so much when squirrel tries to feed he has given up on it. You could also bring the jars in at night as squirrels to to feed in the very early hours - and then put the jars out in the morning. Or, buy your squirrels their own peanut feeder :0)

Can I use reg peanut butter?
@grumpygardener44203 жыл бұрын
Hello Judy - thank you for your question. Peanut butter is a highly nutritious food for garden birds, but they shouldn’t be fed the peanut butter sold in supermarkets for human consumption due to the salt content and consistency. Our Nutpecker peanut butter is mixed with maize flour, wheat flour, flaked maize, vegetable oil, beef fat, seeds, insects or mealworms making it easier to peck at and eat.
