Woow what a year! I’m glad everyone is safe and healthy though! Are you able to get state disability? I tried getting state disability for chronic pain and it didn’t go through, but maybe it would for you? I’m glad you had savings for your emergencies, I bet the vet and car added up a lot. 9k is a lot but glad you saved her, nerf darts are big! We once took our cat to the vet because we thought he ate something he wasn’t supposed to, he stopped eating for 3 days no wet food no dry food. It was close to $2k and they found nothing wrong him (x rays too), turns out he just wanted to go back to pate instead of chunky food, but he didn’t eat the dry food either!! It’s good you did well on your low buy, big events like this puts into perspective what is more important. I went back to school so was spending more on supplies for that, and have been more focused on school than makeup. There are some days that I start overthinking about makeup and wishlists, but it’s been better. Feeling a little burnt out myself always feeling like I’m catching up, but need to not overuse makeup as a coping mechanism. That’s sweet your son is excited for his sister and that he’s not jealous lol. sorry I wrote a novel, just wanted to say you’re heard :)

It’s okay love I actually really appreciate hearing all that! And what a doofus when it comes to your cat 😂 I’m so glad she’s okay too. Cats are both the best and the worst haha It has been a rough year but I’m pretty good at picking myself back up and I know there’s a lot of people out there who can relate. Also school is a lot of work and stress so I’m really glad you’ve been able to focus. It is easy to get burnt out though so I hear you. Good luck with everything! Keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll get through the rough spots. 💕💕💕

So cool you found more ways to use them 😮. Have you tried using the brown shade from the palette or new one you made in your lower lash line? I think it looks spooky cool to use brown or red for that lol. I just depoted a rituel de fille blush multi thing into a lib balm tube, will def finish faster that way

I have but it’s more of a red purple on me and on my lower lash line makes me look sick 😂 It just clashes with my undertone in a very strange way haha. That’s a great idea! Are you still going to use it as a blush or are you going to be using it as a lip color now?

@@BlackMagickBeauty ooh I see yeah bruised purple would be bad lol. I’ve always liked it as a lip balm, but got tired of dipping my fingers in the pot, I find that it fills in pores as blush so got moved to lip category from the start. Ooh ok is it too light for brow powder? 🤔

Oh wow I’m so sorry your pregnancy has been making you feel sick, hope it becomes more bearable. Maybe having the diabetes bland diet is making you dizzy because you need sugar. I have chronic pain (mainly my hands) and I feel like I’ve been using makeup to distract myself from the pain, but then it becomes an obsession. Have slowed down with purchases and watching less KZbin, but then it makes me face reality. Been trying to use other things to distract like cleaning and other hobbies, but then those are more taxing physically 🙄. Anyway hope you feel better 💕

It’s tough for sure. If you love makeup, maybe try to focus on creating fun and creative makeup looks versus buying and watching content? I wish there was more tutorial based content out there that people could follow to do fun looks without feeling pressured to buy. Thanks so much for the encouragement m, I hope you feel better too 💕

You know you took the words right out of my mouth. My eyes are drawn towards the greeny grunge but they are usually too warm and it doesn’t translate well with me. I need cooler tones. The gray purple gloss in the end. What company was that. The one you liked.

I’ll have to double check and get back to you! It’s a brand I’d never heard of before it was gifted to me. I would suggest trying to do some grungy looks with grays and purples, I’ve found I really like the way those look and you can “punk them up” when you want that edge to your makeup.

I would love to have such a curated collection, do you feel like there is anything your missing within your collection? I have a huge collection and it is overwhelming. But at times I think I'd miss such variety. I am working on finding a balance and it is hard.

Only sometimes! The main things I feel like I’m missing is a little more blush variety and more eyeshadow colors that are really suited to my skin tone. For the longest time I only bought eyeshadow because LOOKING at it made me feel good but that doesn’t always coordinate with what I actually enjoy wearing. As time goes on I want to expand the variety of makeup I have that “checks all the boxes” so to speak. I’d have to say though for the most part I really feel okay with the amount I have. Even if I don’t have the exact item or color that I want, I can generally create something that suits my mood regardless with what I have. It’s really made me realize just how little I think I’d be really happy with. Everyone is on their own journey though! Your collection has endless options and really is just that - a collection! If you’re not looking at every item as if you’re one day going to use it all up I think it would be easier for you to just enjoy it all and less overwhelming! 💕

I too love the Aveda Cherry Almond range and wish it wasn't so pricey 😢 I also share your opinion on those little tins for lip balm or cuticle butter - I had to give up on one last week... it just would not open!!😅

So I actually used Reddit to get it done for free! It’s a little more time consuming to do it this way and you need to have a lot of fabric drapes on hand to utilize. If you search “color analysis” there’s groups of people who will give you tips and vote on your type, and then you can do your own research from there to confirm if you want to be really sure. I honestly think it’s just as effective as paying someone since you get a large consensus from people who are really into it as a hobby!

😂😂😂 It definitely would have been life changing information for me. I can’t totally fault them for some of the oversights they made however given they were literally still kids when they had us 🤷♀️
