Great. Thanks for sharing. A pity that Dr Lowe ignores the years of wage stagnation and lack of sharing in productivity, the reports suggesting companies are overpricing to capture greater profits while still suppressing wages. Yes, but ‘wage - price’ spiral. The RBA have not learnt that shifting goal posts in real time simply leads to assumption/bias based errors.

Will it take until next century to solve the lack of interest shown by all governments & councils in Australia to efficiently construct badly needed infrastructure viz civil engineering projects. The only answer is to take decisions away from our governments & simply establish new entities styled for example: Infrastructure Australia, Infrastructure NSW and so on. In this regard, the sole use of cabinet ministers would be solely as a rubber stamp. It will work.

There is a Huge Insider Race to Switch all Energy to Green Hydrogen - the logistics are more complex than fossil fuels which is why for over a hundred years the Planet depended on oil /gas. The time has come to visibly see the severe damage that has been done by depending on a neanderthal process of energy . Hydrogen is the Future there is no question and the Nations are Sprinting to the Starting Blocks in Green Hydrogen #NewHydrogen Not your mom and dad's Hydrogen

It's beautiful that liberals had to deliver this damning report. they have been in power for the past 40 years and have totally lost the right to claim they are better economic managers.

Will there be royalties to pay for hospitals etc.? Also, given H2 takes more energy to make than it actually produces, where will that energy come from?

Go green Hydrogen all the way. No to fossil fuel intergration. Go ammonia/hydrogen
@Doitgood523 жыл бұрын
Distributed wind/solar is the only solution.. if every rooftop had solar panels they would produce more than twice the total electricity consumption. Hydrogen will NEVER make it to market because.. IT’S TOO EXPENSIVE! Processing it produces CO2 and carbon capture and storage is just too expensive and problematic. Time is another factor that works against hydrogen.. temperatures are already above what was agreed to in Paris.. you’re dreaming if you think it’s a solution.. stop taking money from big oil and fossil fuel companies and change the way you think and change the way you do things.. for all our sakes! Another thing is the consumer will pay for the infrastructure installation of rooftop generators.. minimal government input, whereas hydrogen will by necessity be produced by big companies for sale to the consumers.. unacceptable when cheaper solar energy is available.

LOVE HOW THIS MAN EXPLAINS THINGS. We have more than enough energy, we just need to change the way we live. We don't need to live and work like ants. Nature has given us everything we need, We need to live with nature not against nature.

important to note ppl largely present themselves based on how they perceive other people's perception of them, this dose nog really occur if someone is where ourselves is most defined an set in stone, the connection with others in a virtual meeting is superficial at best and in time some positives will dramatically increase group acceptance wile some negatives will fade and vanish and vice versa as the collective approved actions and rules form

if honesty is valued when seeking right an wrong, ethics an morals among this new tech and achieve user trust, this is bigger than any body, group or network and must not be held by them, a vote by all the ppl after large scale local public debate/meeting. any implementation of AI replacement of government or legal body's requires a referendum already.

While hydrogen may become a significant fuel for transport, it is highly unlikely that Australia will export hydrogen in anything like the volumes in which we export natural gas. Hydrogen is difficult to transport. Liquefying hydrogen uses about a third of its energy. Transforming to ammonia and back also uses energy. It is much more efficient to make hydrogen at the point of consumption. You can make hydrogen anywhere in the world if you have a source of electricity and water. As for making hydrogen from fossil fuels and capturing the CO2, it again makes more sense to transport the fossil fuel to the point of consumption rather than transport the hydrogen. Japan is currently burning our LNG to generate electricity. It would be madness to make hydrogen from natural gas, use perhaps 15% of the energy somehow capturing the CO2, lose another third of the energy while transporting it, then burn it in Japan to generate electricity.

Ouch - I would feel a LOT safer if we went down the Electrify Everything pathway for electric heating and cooking and charging EV's than having leaky hydrogen pipes everywhere. Hydrogen trucking might be a niche, but I thought the cost of fuel cells made straight EV's more likely for most family cars.

HIGH-LEVEL CORRUPTION in the Australian Federal and State Government is RIFE (common and widespread). Here's more SHOCKING and DISGRACEFUL CORRUPTION from the Liberal Party (LNP), which is and has been a very toxic culture created and left behind by the God Father of modern Australian Liberal Party, none other than the most undeservingly honored Corruptor in Chief, former Prime Minister John Howard. The toxic culture of political corruption, turning a blind eye to unethical and corrupt actions of all LNP political party politicians and members has turned the LNP into a Party of Political Thugs and Snakes from Local and State all-the-way Federal Government levels. In the words of the BEST and MOST PROLIFIC PRIME MINISTER of Australia, The Honorable Gough Whitlam; Original Quote by Gough Whitlam speaking after being dismissed by Governor-General Sir John Kerr on November 11, 1975 on the steps of Australian Parliament. "Ladies and gentlemen, well may we say 'God Save the Queen', because nothing will save the Governor-General. The proclamation you have just heard was countersigned Malcolm Fraser, who will go down in history as Kerr's cur." New quote by me, using Hon. Gough Whitlam's original quote; "Ladies and gentlemen, well may we say 'the corrupt multinationals, banks and ultra-rich like Rupert Murdoch et-al have saved the Liberal Party (LNP) for now', because nothing will save them at the next Federal Election." Here are 4 recent must read articles to help open you eyes to the realities of the Australian people being treated with contempt. 1) Federal MP Peter Dutton covers up $39 million fraud and theft at the Australian Border Force. kangaroocourtofaustralia.com/2020/10/24/federal-mp-peter-dutton-covers-up-39-million-fraud-and-theft-at-the-australian-border-force/ 2) Liberal Party supporters Rupert Murdoch, Kerry Stokes and Peter Costello control Australian media and that’s why we need a Royal Commission. kangaroocourtofaustralia.com/2020/10/20/liberal-party-supporters-rupert-murdoch-kerry-stokes-and-peter-costello-control-australian-media-and-thats-why-we-need-a-royal-commission/ 3) Daryl Maguire’s corrupt hands extend to the federal government who have been secretly dragging their feet on a federal anti-corruption commission. kangaroocourtofaustralia.com/2020/10/22/daryl-maguires-corrupt-hands-extend-to-the-federal-government-who-have-been-secretly-dragging-their-feet-on-a-federal-anti-corruption-commission/ 4) NSW Government breaches Record Keeping Laws. So here we go again. Documents destroyed, data destroyed and they would have us believe that they are not hiding anything. www.abc.net.au/news/2020-10-23/gladys-berejiklian-approval-of-council-grants-shredded/12806962

sounds good, but the challenge is huge to reduce the price, can they do it for 1 dollar a kg, I have massive doubts, but the benefits are if they try and fail, the renewable energy can be directed into the grid or if they do it in northern Australia tghey could set up transmission and sell electricity into southern Asia.
