Falling into infinity is when JP was at his peak, for me at least. The solos in this album are very mature, the note selections are excellent! I don't mean to say he was bad in other albums, of course not. But he was something else in this one.

i saw them before when i was in my early 20's ! at a place that no longer exist, sadly.... Rocky point, RI ! there first album ! they played with Galatic cowboys back then , im 47 now, when i saw them i got about 2 feet away from john, he slapped my hand while security took me to the back of the hall ! i will never forget that ! ever !

almost 25 years since i first heard a song by DT and I swear i wouldn't be the person i am today without having had Dream Theater throughout the worst of times in the past. their music always felt like the one safe place to go to when the 3D world outside crumbled to pieces, and it kept pushing me forward.
