The ADA value of your wallet should be the voting power, not the ADA in your wallet. I.e. the Cardano Native Tokens should also give you voting power.

In my opinion, the course of actions that have recently taken place in Catalyst, driving Swarm out a bit, are exactly what was needed for the fruition of Swarm. This was a necessary step on the journey Swarm is taking, so excited to see where it takes us

Cheers Curtis. SWARM grew with its visions and actions beyond what Catalyst became which is at general a very good thing. SWARM may always have a healthy presence at Catalyst but also matured and grew enough across other ecosystems where gained knowledge and experience is a hell of a valuable thing to allow others to learn from our experiences :) And people like you and your project (CCypher) are a keypart of tranlsatng knowledge to others

Nene, we dont go... we will always stay engaged at Cardano and Catalyst, but we also see that our dreams and visions grow beyond single ecosystems and it seems a natural emerging thing to us to grow across different ecosystems and communities.. maybe even beyond the Blockchain space :)

I despise the idea of more money = more voting power. It will never be a good system this way. I do believe Cardano should implement Humanode and give every single person only 1 voting power. Not every wallet, NOT every address, DEFINITELY NOT every coin, but every human = 1 vote. What we could build upon this concept is still a system of DReps so that stake pool operators could offer voting delegation to their stakees and vote with the power of all those who delegate their vote but only after giving them a recap of why they vote how they vote for the group, the delegators confirming they support the collective vote (or their vote isn't counted), and the SPO having to pay a flat fee to those who delegate out of pool funds (it could stay locked for a certain period in the delegators' wallets counting for staking to the pool). That way richer SPOs wouldn't be able to bribe their delegators, and it would cost a certain amount of money to speak for the group, so influence would come at a price linearly equal to the amount of delegators, not logarithmically based on size of vote. What it ends up with is popular SPOs who have the greater good at heart would get exponentially more influence over the voting mechanism, but the price to pay would be still linearly proportional to the current CIP proposal, only, at the governance level it wouldn't let 1 person vote more because they are richer. They would have to redistribute that wealth to unique humans in order to have that influence, AND have popular opinions in order to collect those votes. This would effectively enforce an anti-plutocracy measure into a voting representatives system that current politics have failed to address.

It would be so interesting if the IOG or Charles team would listen to you carefully and agree to participate in several exchanges of ideas, criticisms and proprieties on what is sure to work... kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4CVgqR4gcugjq8 Subtitles are available, you might be interested. But I think the Cardano governance apparatus can still find even more developed angles. Knowing the possibilities of automatic bot as we know....

I think you are all really very complementary. You have a lot of potential to analyse the feasibility. In any case you will start with a beginning, by modules, and little by little the monitoring very ergonomic for the public will allow to see the missing necessities. Unfortunately, I don't speak English very well and AI has not yet solved this problem so I can participate vocally with you. There should be a big door for AI students in your models, future PhD students from all over the world can be very interested. 😀
