I hope tou make a good video soon love your content is still the best Sim for me , il started in fsx and Xplane 11 and Switch late 2019 to P3D definitely the most realistic Flight system no questions about it for me is the biggest default of MSFS2020 and for this P3D is the best and In comparaison PMDG run realistic in P3D not in MSFS2020 , yes Graphics is bad part of this Sim but i like it because im old school flight simmer and bring le back to me first Fligt and love it !

P3D was originally designed to be used for realistic military simulation and it’s kind of the default software for many of the in real life simulators…

I know this is an old topic but they were greedy enough to give us a variant few people uses as a basepack and make the expansions as expensive as the basepack making both mandatory. I wouldn't be surprised if someone cracked them already

1) You get what you pay for. 2) These (PMDG) aircraft are probably the best in terms of technology & modeling. 3) My issue is lack of love for P3D.

Ok, it looks actually not that bad as I used to think about the P3D previously. For some reason back in 2019 when I started simming everyone on the internet was recommending X-Plane, and then MSFS was released, so I missed the P3D completely. High quality long haulers like 777 with working weather radar and proper physics look promising and attractive, so I'm now considering buying the P3D. Does it really cost $1000? It looks like $60 for the sim and $140 for the PMDG 777, so $200 - quite expensive comparing to my existing MSFS + PMDG 737-800 bundle, but kind of affordable considering it's so much better. What other addons are must-have to enjoy it like the MSFS in 2024? Are there good freeware scenery sites you can recommend? Thank you in advance!

As far as I can say after 20 Years of simming.... I changed to P3D as Microsoft announced, not to continue with developping. Also MS was allways very unstable, not so on P3D. Now I bought MSFS 2020 to find out differences and I think it is 1st overloaded and 2nd you are a slave of Microsoft running thir product. Why do I need a Microsoft account for simming ? And to be online all the time, hey whats wrong here ? You have to accept a lot of overload with MS-Games and Xbox necessarities. I have no Xbox and never want one. Yes, online scenery downloads are sexy, but if you are interested in IFR flying, scenery is not really what you need. A slim and easy system is a lot more sexy.... I am running a 1:1 cockpit in original size to sit in and MSFS is no choice for this kind of application. I like the visuals and the World in MSFS but it is not practicable to implement so easy than P3D. My wish is, to have the scenery in this quality as it is with MSFS, but everything else you can forget. I need no Aircrafts, my sim is a A320, nothing else. So it depends what you want to do, many (unnecessary) things around or the essential functionality. MSFS is really a GAME for simple gamers, P3D is a training solution of first class. I never called flight simming a GAME. It is a simulation. I stay on P3D, because i do not want to be a slave of Microsft. But the scenery quality of MSFS vs. P3D is great. But if you want to learn flying, P3D is the better choice. I hope Lockheed Martin will follow up the scenery quality soon. Unfortunately P3D V6 is rubbish, no increase of performance or funcionality. A waste of money so far.... So I think the best solution is still allways P3D V5, but with the scenery (and nothing else) of MSFS.

Do you think the reflection on aircraft seems better in v5 than v5.3 ? im seeing from your vids that those v5 looks better than v5.3 or its just because of the planes?

Do you know why most of my airplanes reflections shiny are gone in 5.4 ? they just like flat skin without reflection shiny , if there's reflection its only small not like yours

Something p3d will have an advantage on for a while now is long haul. The sim basically has every single plane and a high quality one. Msfs is still quite lacking in airliners. Only good ones we have is the a310, a320, CRJ, md-80, 737 and an OKAY 787 and 748. The only super high quality ones here are the a320, 737 and md-80 tho. And there’s not any amazing long haulers.

Longreach is not related to it being an ER aircraft. It’s the location in Australia where Qantas began.

P3d is great... If you have a lot of money, beast pc =)
