Because they went through a lot of hardships; band members came and went, traveling to play shows at tiny venues but the help of their fans supported them and they grew. Not all bands can "make it big" even when they try really hard. But BVB really wanted it, tried their hardest and it happened for them. They truly believed they would be a huge band, and they made it happen. It just goes to show if you really want something, truly want it, you can achieve it with hard work and passion.

Well, there's also the fact that thousands upon thousands of bands never get past their first album! Many can't stick together for some reason or other, financial problems, creative differences, relationships, etc.. To even get to the point of touring seems like an accomplishment! I know that it just sounds so easy to start a band, record an album, tour, & eventually "make it", but it's really not-unless you've got connections & happen to get lucky with the right lineup of musicians! I've played in a few bands, but it never worked out bcuz most ppl weren't really serious & the ones that were thought they were already international stars & above it all, not wanting to put any work into it. "You guys just work it out & let me know when you're ready", is not writing or rehearsing. I've always written songs alone, but there's a certain element to jamming out that brings out collaborations or helps to work through an arrangement that needs some work. I'll have the melody, most of the arrangement, the vocal melody & arrangement with it, but it might need work bridging the verses, chorus or solo with the drums as my rhythm tends to change up & I don't write using the standard songwriting formula of verse chorus verse chorus solo etc.. I know I write great songs bcuz I've had other musicians trying to steal them (the type that want to "make it" at all cost) & I'm just not into that fame & fortune BS. I could care less about money. What I do know is there is a door, music is the key to open it, & I'm trying to write the song that is the key. A song so epic as to unlock the collective conscious & open a rift in the fabric of the space-time continuum. It's been done before, & though it sounds like crazy wingnut ideas, I know it's possible! That's what I'm looking for in a band & it's almost impossible to find musicians with similar aims, let alone musicians who play similar genres! BVB have actually come a long ways, & have "made it" against the odds & let's face it, the odds are stacked against every band that starts out without connections, major label backing, or rich families! I'm not a fan, but I can appreciate some aspects-they have a few catchy songs & their uniforms are pretty cool! Dudes are living their dream though, gotta give them props for that! I don't see why ppl waste their time hating them when there are more important things to hate like rapists & chomos! Comparatively, they're really not that bad! There's worse like 1D, 5SOS, & JBeaver! At least BVB play live & play ROCKNROLL!
