This is one of the first 2 songs I learned to play on drums. Me and my buddy would play Black Sails front to back. Miss those days.

@ScottVito - any chance you have more videos or audio from this show? This and your Silver and Cold video are amazing, and I'd love to get more content if possible since they played She Speaks the Language, Darling I Want to Destroy You, and some deeper cuts of decemberunderground and Art of Drowning. I've mostly got pictures I took from this show, and it's hard to find folks taping AFI consistently lol

Nah I only captured these two videos. I try to limit myself to one per show, though I did two for this one. It was a great show!
@LiquidIce092 ай бұрын
@@ScottVito I totally get that since I was also just enjoying myself. Thanks for sharing what you captured though - always cool finding videos from shows I've attended!

I wish they would do a tour playing this whole album. I saw them back in the day when they toured for this album but it'd still be cool if they revisited it.

Great song but kinda feels like you guys got the lowest effort possible from Wolf Alice on it. That had zero energy and aura which that song commands

@@rodrigocutini8308you’re point? Cannibal Corpse plays songs from 20 years ago and they still sound the same as on the album

His voice is shot 😢 I saw them back in the early 2000s and he sounded just like the album. We all get old… but I just saw The Cure yesterday and holy crap, Robert Smith’s voice is still the same! Take care of your voices!!!

Probably shouldn’t check out Sisters Of Mercy’s latest live stuff if the think this is poor quality. I think Davey did great for the demand on the vocal chords AFI’s vocals require for a dude in his 50’s
@markshadows36676 ай бұрын
@mikeydubbs8565 Davey isn't in his 50s yet lol. Close but not yet. Though I've seen them countless times since 98 and he still sounds great most of the time. He has off nights but he still gives a great performance. You're right about Sisters though. Never got to seen them in their prime so went to the show here a while back. Andrew, when he actually sings, sounds terrible now

Not a bad choice. That was the album where they moved away from the normal hardcore punk and had their own unique sound. So it holds a place in history, whether it's your favorite or not. I still like Art of Drowning and Sing the Sorrow better though.
@fos87892 ай бұрын
Sing the Sorrow their best according to critics. For me too. Black Sails close second place.
@chilipismysignature50312 ай бұрын
Can't disagree. Love Art of Drowning tho and to a slightly lesser extent Sing the Sorrow. Shout out to Shut Your Mouth tho. Mannnn what a fucking run they had tho for a few years. Perfection 🤌
