Flatwoods Park » Best known for its seven-mile paved loop road, which serves as a multiuse trail, Flatwoods Park provides a welcome getaway from Tampa's developed landscape. The Morris Bridge well field is located within the park, and well houses can be observed along the trail. A two-mile paved extension connects Bruce B. Downs Boulevard with the loop road. Flatwoods Park Trail is a paved 1-mile connection between Morris Bridge Road and the loop road.

Damn I was there with my husband we crossed the finish line holding hands🤗 it looks like you caught everybody but I can't figure out which ones we are! Oh well visiting Tampa tomorrow and hopefully relive this moment.

That's one of my favorite long distance rail trails in Florida. I've done it a couple of times all away. 👍

Saturday January 27, 2018 marked the 103rd Gasparilla Pirate Festival in Tampa Bay. Tampa police estimated between 300,000 to 400,000 people were at the parade. Despite the large crowd, however, Tampa police reported few problems. Late Saturday they reported there was only one felony arrest, for battery on a law enforcement officer, and 19 misdemeanor arrests. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says it arrested 15 people for boating under the influence 😜

Great idea!!! You might like my video called Near Wilmington that shows some of the birds and other creatures on the Cape Fear River side of the park. Have another video of the Dismal Swamp State Park I did two years ago for Friends of the Dismal Swamp State Park..

I just moved to Jacksonville NC. I will check out the Wilmington ride, looks like peaceful co-existence between cyclists and automobiles. To cork intersections outside of urban part of Wilmington would seem impossible.

@omaifakingad Helmets are generally required at these kinds of skates since they skate in the street. Drivers aren't always respectful or aware of skaters, bikers, etc.
