I'm definitely not a fan of drawing cards for qualifying. I understand it helps keep costs down, which I can appreciate. Are there other race series that qualify like that?

Couldn't have gone to a nicer guy! I met Dave when he had his Lipship Maximus (he came to my family shop to look at the Maximus we owned at the time) and just the few minutes I got to chat with him has stuck with me for the years since. He was such a down to earth guy! Beautiful boat Mr. Burgess and I hope nothing stands in the way of you doing what you love and enjoy especially when those things include your family.

I'd make Super Cat the top flight class in the US - let's face it they're class 1 boats in any other country. Spectacular - and the fans want to see large fields of racers, not so much a race with three/four/five boats.
