These are the best product I have found for outdoor training. I have tried a lot of different products, from the Mylek MK7, to 2 piece sticks, to different blade protectors and these are the best. I put the blade protector on and fully tape it, and once the tape wears enough on the bottom I will cut the loose tape off so it doesn’t start to peel from the sides of the wraparound. I do find that my blades do wear in certain areas due to sand/dirt getting into the protected area so keep an eye on that. I also train with either a green biscuit or Xeno Puck and really don’t notice the wrap around. Out of all the wrap arounds I’ve gone through I’ve only managed to have one break on me and I’m not sure how it happened but it was a brand new wrap around.

How is this glove vs Ft 6 pro?
@ice.warehouseКүн бұрын
This glove feels amazing, just like the FT6 Pro. You're getting more protection with the XF Pro, so this is a great choice for the more aggressive player who steps into the shooting lane and receives a ton of slashes. The FT6 Pro offers the best breathability with a great level of protection still. Brandon at IW Hockey

Is the liner completely removable? I had the AS-V and the knee donut liner does not come off so they were hard to wash.

Now that these have been out a while, I'm curious how many of the H5X & H7X have you taken back on warranty issues like the boot breaking? If it weren't for the True warranty, I can't say I'd recommend anything lower than a 9X in any True skate.

Hello. Wonderful video. I am looking to purchase the Vapor Hyperlite 2 Senior Roller Hockey Skates and I was wondering, are the Vapor Hyperlite 2 Senior Roller Hockey Skates suitable for everyday city (asphalt and concrete) skating? Thank you so much.
@datanpeterpan3 күн бұрын
Looks like a great update. I wanted the asv but the thigh guard would interfere with my pants and the exposed d30 in the knee donut was uncomfortable. Looks like they addressed both issues.

Just bought a pair and had them remade into bandy skates and so far I’m absolutely LOVING them! Had the tendon guard and toungue cut off and also switched to bandy blades. It was amazing to see that the blades fit right into the skate blade housing. I assumed I would have to change the entire housing so that was sure a pleasant surprise! They are miles better when compared to the pre made bandy skates on the market. The different width options of the boot allowed me to have my first skate in years with little to no foot pain. Thank you for this video and making me choose this skate! Love from Sweden!

I'm in my 50's now, used to play at a fairly high level in the 80's - 90's. My old skates recently broke and I bought a pair of these. Great skate for the money and far better than anything top of the line 20 or 30 years ago. These (or their future equivalent) are all any beginner - mid level player needs until they learn the game.

Had this “neck guard”, the “senior sized” one and i wouldn’t reccomend this to anybody that you love! Not only is it not even protective, it didn’t even come close to fitting me comfortable. Just a very cheap feeling crap product. For $5 more there’s much much better options. If you’re buying this for yourself or a loved one make sure it’s made with Kevlar AND certified by BNQ. While I’m fortunate to have never found out if the one shown in the video works or not, I’m 99.99999999% certain that this wouldn’t even protect a youth player from the slightest knick of a blade. *DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE* If one chooses not to wear a neck guard that’s also their choice, not here for that debate.

Definitely get the pro stock version of this which is called CCM hp45. also has an extra protection version called CCM hp45X. they come with lots of options like+1" +2" and/or zipper 1" extension you don't want the gaps on protection from retail pants. Also the Pro stock HP45 has the traditional lace system in the crotch which keeps it square and stable. This velcro/belt on this retail pants is known to get twisted and feel twisted.

I just bought these and they fit perfect, but when I ride I am getting a TON of sharp pressure/ pain in the front of the bend in my ankle, and around the edge of the cuff around my shins, Ive ridden plenty of hockey skates but they were always soft instead of the carbon fiber/ plastic. Is there anyway I can help fix this or should I consider swapping skates?

How much difference is there between the FT660 and the FT670? $85 vs $140 Playing again for the 1st time in 20 years and wanna get a good cheap entry level composite stick Im playing with a wood CCM Ultimate ABS stick right now. Thinking the 660 & 670 would be a good starting point.
@ice.warehouse10 күн бұрын
Welcome back! You've narrowed down the choices quite nicely. Between those two sticks, the 670 has upgraded materials in the shaft and blade, which you'll notice in weight, puck feel and overall performance. If you don't mind the $140 price tag, this would be a fantastic starting stick. The 660 is more traditionally built and will offer really good durability. It's a great starting stick for anybody looking to save some money before they commit to a performance-level stick like the 670. Going with the 660 would still be a great choice and you would see a major improvement over your current CCM Ultimate. Brandon at IW Hockey
