Looks like the tip power for this new 888DX is 65W, same as for the old 888D. However, the power used by the new 888DX is 100W vs 70W of the 888D. Do you know why the new unit uses more power?

What power bank do you use? I tried with a Baseus Adaman Metal Digital Display Quick Charge Power Bank 20000mAh/65W - bit it didn't work.

Doesn't the SDS3000X HD have two 4 GS/s ADCs, so that if you only use Ch1 and Ch3, you have 4 GS/s each

As much as I like Siglent I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and go rigol 914s. No information on release dates other than 'soon'.

whats your view between Siglent SDG2042x and Rigols latest fanless entries DG800 and 900.. so difficult to get an overview.? does the new state of the DGxxx rigols elevate in a more advanced featurerich sig gen?

Its looks very entry as it clearly also is, and I get that they wanna show how small and mobile it is, by carying it around too everybody and use on that jobdeck, but thr lack of battery or power bank ability and only AC - kind of undermines that video narrative. and yet another 16/9 ratio that cramp that critical vertical 12bit resolution quite a bit when you only working with a small 7" screen.. even my old 2015 - P8Max phone is around that size 6.8" in 16/9 and having around that screensize as a bench scope platform.

If it had two cursor flex knobs I would consider it.

Hello. Can I ask you to take a video of a 3 MHz meander (Square signal) on DHO914, 914S, 924 and 924S? At the same time, try not to use long wires with crocodiles (probes) on the earth terminal, use only a needle spring as the earth terminal on the oscilloscope probe. And take the signal directly from the generator connector, without its native cable.

What kind of powerbank do you use? I have a 65W powerbank for my laptop. I thought it would be enough for a Rigol DHO804, but as it turned out, it needs 12V 4A, and my powerbank only put out 3A at 12V. I also checked some of the higher end power banks and all of them only can 3A at 12V... :(
