At the same time one Palestinian girl, who also was 8 years old when taken into administrative detention, was released 3,650 days later. Yes, ten years later, she was 18 years old when released. Her family also rejoiced but quietly because they are afraid that Israeli Police will re-take her into administrative detention once this conflict is over. Administrative detention is incarceration without trial or charge. In the months before October 7, 2023, Israel was holding 170 children and 1,264 adults in administrative detention, that is in jail without trial or charge. Does that mean Israel had 170 children and 1,264 civilians as hostage? Palestinian's took 240 Hostages on Oct. 7, 2023. What do you thnik?
