As a trans myself, I think it's because back then the term transgender wasn't really mainstream which is why most comments from years ago refers it as other words. I guess it's surprising that this VN was released in 2007 where acceptance rate for us was much lower than today.

@@KimikoEllie Yeah, I mean, you're right, but still, trans people were mostly seen as "traps" (term that i find completely disgusting btw) but I agree, I played the VN, and the themes of it are really, really good, for it to be released in 2007.

@@gumivods Yup, there are still a lot of people who are using the weeb T-slur even now. But back then it's worse. So I guess I can be thankful while also working to raise awareness about transgender to the common people so that all people like me can get the same treatment as the cishets.

I just finished this VN, loved it. The aesthetics are really something else, the story and pacing might not be for everyone, due to how fast things happen, and how short the VN is. But personally, I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Judging from the notes on their website, I think that the developers are trying to express the exact opposite. It is exactly because homosexual relationship is real and complex that it carries the success, and more often than not, the regrets of a more well-known heterosexual relationship. And Mai left not because of her identity, but because she believes that they both need to embrace their identities instead of licking each other's wounds.

Not in my opinion. xD I will play any type of visual novel as long as the story is good. Besides, I don't think you should think transsexual people are weird anyway... It's not like it's their choice.
