This game is simply a work of art. Only silent hill rivals this game in terms of immersing the player.

It is partly canon. The MW games are never full canon but they have bits that are not canon either. There is an Ian Dresari in lore who fought against a steiner incursion on Kentares IV, and the events og black knight are full non-canon. Ian never became a dictator, it was steiner propaganda. But he also chose to not take the throne until all of Steiner was obliterated from Kentares IV, a task he undertook leadership of.

As for me, Lieutenant Burke is the second most cruel among the bosses. He did terrible things to his opponents with obvious sadism and pleasure, and constantly humiliated Iyan in a duel. I think he fully deserved to die like that.

Alot of people hated on this one, I never played it personally, but understandably, it was trying to hard to change up from the first and compete with legacy of kains edgy rockerboy protag style type crap, (raziel was actually cool af though and not a douchebag) and this game lacked the actual horror element the first had. I believe that DMC was inspired from this title specifically. Castlevania inspire nightmare creatures, nightmare creatures 2 inspired DMC
