Más vídeos así por favor y compararlo con la HC v380 de Panasonic un low light
@miklosnemeth85662 жыл бұрын
What a disappointingly useless comparison, You should have used a 1" camera to compare. This camera is a competitor of 1" cameras as for low light. The shutter was 1/60 for 60FPS, really weird.
@outlawproductions22282 жыл бұрын
From a competitor standpoint, yes this was useless. The reason I ran this test is because the A7SII was known for its low light performance at the time, while the Z190 was known for performing fairly poor in low light. This was not supposed to show which camera was better, it was to give an idea of what a good-performance low light camera looks like next to a poorly-performing one. I understand what you mean though.

I've been using this camera for a year and a half in tough outdoor conditions like snow as well as documentary work. I use it extensively on sets and green screen work. I think because I'm used to having good lighting situations I have not experienced any low light issues. The SDXC card slots have always worked well with 64 GB and 128 GB sizes with no issues at all. So far so good. Prior to this I was using the PMW 160. I also use the Panasonic GH4 in certain settings where a smaller camera is required.

@@outlawproductions2228 was it the same shot framing?
@outlawproductions22283 жыл бұрын
@@pdxktv Yes, so the shot framing was exactly the same mm in lens length for both cameras. By unusable I meant that the Z190 performs poorly in low light. It's only a 1/3" sensor, which is the same sensor size used by iPhone camera sensors, so I have to cut the camera some slack in that department.
@outlawproductions22283 жыл бұрын
I don't know what it is about the internal codec, but the camera performs better at higher frame rates. 24 fps is fairly harsh in terms of noise and grain.

Thanks for this video! It helped me confirm that the GL2 is exactly what I'm looking for and I just ordered one. @@waitwot1719 Each tape has around 60 minutes of recording time. You will need a FireWire cable in order to transfer the footage onto your computer. Once transferred, you can continue recording. The camcorder should display how many minutes of recording time you have left until the tape runs out.

Hi there...I'm thinking about replacing my 2 old Canon XF300 cameras (which I use mostly for live events such as plays and concerts-some not very well lit) with 2 new cameras which should be better in low light and for "future proof" also record in 4k...after doing some research I have come to Panasonic UX180 or something better and a couple of Sony Cameras....this PXW Z190 and PXW Z150...I'm not expecting A7iii performance! No no but GOOD low light (better than my reliable XF300s), good AF, no need to increase gain over 6db and GOOD 1080p as well as 4k....I know..I'm asking too much...but I would have thought that the new generation of 4k cameras would be a lot better in "low light" (not total darkness of course) and I discover after watching several youtube videos that this one Z190 is "worse" than the Z150 (the one inch sensor helps I guess)...so...which Prosumer camera is GOOD (not perfect) in low light? I need XLR in etc for professiona work.. For artistic shots I have plenty of DSLRs/mirrorless cameras like Sony a6400 etc...which one would you recommend? Clearly NOT this Z190!! and I can't afford the Canon XF705! thanks!
@outlawproductions22285 жыл бұрын
Hello! Thanks for the comment! I can definitely assist you with this purchase. If you want decent lowlight performance, good autofocus and a nice, future-proof 4K and 1080p, definitely do NOT go with the Z190. This is an ENG-style camera that is only suitable in a properly-lit news gathering room or in a controlled outdoor scenario. Before purchasing the Z190, I was also edging towards at the Panasonic UX180. That looks like a solid camcorder with decent low-light performance as well as great autofocus, and definitely a better purchase than the Sony PXW-Z190 and Z-150. Also, the UX180 is a small, compact camcorder which will easily fit into some of the smaller camera bags on the market. I hope this helps!

@@outlawproductions2228 thanks! So did you end up getting the Panny UX180? I should search your channel for a review...hard to find a good prosumer Camcorder. I have tons of interchangeable lenses cameras such as the Canon C100 mk2, Sony a6400 and even a Canon 90d but i need a real camcorder for some jobs such as conferences and concerts etc..good XLR etc etc...the UX180 keeps coming up but some reviewers don't like it...gosh..hard to find the perfect camera! My Canon XF300 are ok-very reliable for over 5 years for sure. I will research a bit more. Thanks so much!

@@TheFandangovideoguy I actually ended up purchasing the Z190 and I soon regretted that decision. However, from the multiple review videos I've watched and websites I've visited regarding the UX180 and even occasions where I was able to use the UX180 in person, I can say it is a far better camcorder. At the time, the Z190 stood out to me because of the professional broadcast features, which I could care less about today. It really depends on your needs, but just do not purchase the Z190. I think based on what I've seen, the Panasonic UX180 has a far better lens and 4K image quality.

i still use this camera in 2019. (PAL 50i Sony HVR-HD1000P) Video quality's ok to upload to youtube with 720/50P setting. More than that make video soft (It's very unique look to me too) I think sony make some great shutter/aperture value profile to make video look great and smooth more than newer DSLR/Mirrorless that look choppy and rolling all around.
