You know where else you can find striped bass? Arizona. No kidding. They're all over the Colorado River and its reservoirs, along with some other waters including Lake Pleasant. They're actually reproducing so successfully in just freshwater that the lakes are full of small stripers; there's no bag limit for striped bass on Lake Powell or Lake Pleasant (according to regulations published for the 2023-2024 season).

Lemon juice for kidney stones. 50/50 water and lemon juice or straight outta the bottle. Usually dissolves mine within hours when I do get them. But that's the number 1 go to very acidic and eats them right up. But also lots of water to flush your kidneys out while drinking the 50/50

I think this speaks to our reliance on tech. I've seen your filter and it is perfect but the strange paradigm nowadays is bare empty tanks stocked with active and hungry fish. Even my uncle who should know better keeps expensive arowanas in bare sterile tanks When i was growing up, we kept koi, carp and goldfishes in ponds with plants and sand/gravel. Even if our filters failed, the plants were hungrily sucking up the free ammonia/ammonium and there are some beneficial bacteria in the substrate and plants to oxidise or breakdown the waste and excess food. Nature will take over when our tech fails. If you're worried about the fishes disturbing and uprooting the plants, just keep them in pots. Take your pick of plants and you can keep them in floating pots on the surface for the koi to play football and hide from the sun, or place them underwater where their roots are still protected by the pots.

Isn’t it illegal to fish off a bridge ?
@more_fishwithcarl3 ай бұрын
Hi mate, it is :) However I cast an underwater camera over that bridge with no hook or bait so it's ok as it isn't fishing. The only baited camera shot was the pike and that was shot at a lake which definitely was fishing! The others were just pov footage of what it would look like on the end of your line if you were fishing :)

Mahseer are a great fish to chase. So many methods to use. From the big silvers in the Cauvery to the sleek Goldens in the north. An epic fish to sight cast for in places. Just watch out for some of the animals in the areas around the river, as Tigers and Leopards are ever present in many of the river areas, particularly the Saryu and Ramganga.
