We have finished the third iteration and it feels like it could go on forever. I would have appreciated if instead of "Position" the game was mentioned like 25. Turing Machine ^^ I listen to videos while working and it is rather difficult to find a specific game to rewatch the sequence in detail.

I appreciated the time you took to make it and I don't agree with the other person because you did actually say why you like each game and a little story behind it and some quick game overview. So great job! I've just discovered your channel and, being a solo player, I have a lot of videos to watch! We have kinda similar taste in games as I could also notice from this video, namely Arkham Horror (other than the LCG, I have 2nd, 3rd edition and Eldritch Horror) but also some that I'd never heard of but made me curious, so I'll definitely watch your playthroughs.

At the risk of sounding like a pompous asshole, I'll tell you why I clicked off the video. You gave good summary of the rules for each game, but what I wanted was to hear why this game is in your top 43, what makes it special and why you like it (and what kind of person would also like it).

Losing that battle was a great benefit. Not only does it take away points from the Ghost but you received 2 swords that can easily be converted into gold or used in battle or cost of an adventure card. I have had to roll more dice, not noticing the amount of Ghost that had already been sent into the underworld. I was stoked to see you use Wandering Sage. It took awhile for me to understand the strategy. A example is to go to the portal with your Wizard and move to an adjacent realm so you can visit the portal again. I will watch part 2 later on. I love how got everything arranged to fit on camera.

Hello again, In this second part, there are two things that you kept doing during the whole game. The first one was not making the automa use the neutral dam on the lower left. The second one is you acted like the automa had a powerhouse in basin 12, producing with it, and even, at 1:16:56, building a conduit to complete a system with it. Apart from that, several of the notes I took involve things that are missing from the rulebook and have been clarified by the author on boardgamegeek. Thanks for playing that game. I always enjoy playing it, seeing people playing it, and teach people how to play it. 3:30 The automa cannot use the water drops at that place, since there is no powerhouse. Sidenote: the rulebook doesn't tell which production unit to use in case of a tie. The author clarified it on boardgamegeek: if the automa has to choose between a neutral dam and one of its own dams, it will choose the neutral dam first (which makes sense, since anybody could use it, un like its own dams). 6:09 Another thing that is not sufficiently clear in the rulebook and has been clarified by the author. You check how many waterdrops would reach each location, not how many waterdrops the dam can currently hold. This makes sense, if you think that that criterium is also used when building a new dam, which means that the current capacity of any available location would be 0. In the current situation, two waterdrops would pass through each of the dams, so this criterium is not enough to decide. The second criterium would select the lower left dam. 16:33 If you are to place waterdrops flowing immediately, then you count how many of *those* waterdrops would reach a dam without overflowing it. When placing waterdrops that will only flow at the end of the round, you need to consider all the waterdrops currently waiting to flow. With a total of 2, the left source will already fill the dam below, so the automa cannot place any waterdrop there. On the right source however, the automa can add two waterdrops because, with a total of 4, the dam below would be filled without exceeding its capacity. 20:19 It's actually 3 credits. 28:25 That first icon means, the second most powerful conduit, among those the automa can build. With 6 excavators, the second most powerful conduit it can build is a conduit with a production value of 2. 38:50 That engineer got lost and ended in the Machinery Shop instead of the Contract Office. 48:13 The automa only produced 7 energy, it should fulfil the contract with value 7, not 8. 48:20 Fulfilling that contract allows to build a conduit of value 4 *or lower*. 48:28 That first icon means a location where there is a base, belonging to the player, or a neutral one, or one belonging to the automa, in that order. There isn't a powerhouse in basin 12 to complete a system on the right. 1:19:57 Even if there is no contracts left, the automa will still place one engineer and get its two energy points. 1:22:52 Starting at 7, the first basin where the automa can build is basin 10, completing a system with the dam and the conduit in basin 5. 1:33:10 When playing two players, there is no spot to rotate the wheel twice. Both upper action spaces are to rotate the wheel once and the lower actions spaces are to rotate it three times.

I know it's not easy not making mistakes if it's your first time playing with the automa. Specially while also commenting for the video. Here are the few things I noticed. They're only meant to inform the viewers. 33:40 The Patent Office board is not an expansion. My opinion is you should always use that board, except maybe in your first game when you're learning how to play. Also, the Automa rules specifically tell you not to use the introductory rules. You should never leave out the Patent Office board when using the Automa. 48:06 The automa can complete a production system by placing a powerhouse in the lower left basin. Any conduit can be used, whoever the owner is. There was no need to check the criteria tile. 49:58 That neutral dam is almost guaranteed to be used by the automa next turn. 50:56 The automa should produce with the water drops in the neutral dam, since it produces more energy. 53:13 By using the neutral dam, it would have produced a total of 4 energy and would have been able to fulfil a green contract. 1:04:53 At equal value, the automa fulfils the contract on the right. As long as you don't switch sides during the game, I guess it's ok to use the contract on the left. 1:10:21 If the automa doesn't have enough engineers to perform the action, it will perform it anyway using its last engineer.

You can use remnants for spells if you didnt know 😊

Great playthrough!! I hope you had fun even though there were a lot of bad luck rolls and room draws-- you still made it to the end with max XP and an armory too! Luck turned around with Og missing on his 2nd phase too, and those moments make the game very fun for me.

next time put your cards closer together so you can zoom in a bit. Can't read anything from this distance, not even on pc.

the game is basically free - it holds it value so buy it second hand and sell it third hand.

Love how you are doing this video With cards zoomed and instructions at hand. Definitely we'll use this to play the game for the 1st time. There are not enough videos for gamers who want to start out using the solo mode of a game. I think an actuality most people prefer to learn a game and teach each others and that is done best using the solo mode.
