What an important gift to the Church to create safe, compassionate brave spaces and resources for needed responses to domestic and intimate partner violence! Thank you!

I've been researching Voter Suppression as of late... It seems a more recent conversation and concern in the media. I've only been able to find videos about this topic on KZbin dating back from the last two years, but nothing seems to exist past that (this really seems strange for such an important topic and I hope the concerns are authentic and not a response because one political party won and another lost. That would be disingenuous). It seems that some states switched over to a “vote center” model, meaning that, instead of being assigned to specific polling places, voters can cast ballots at whatever polling place they choose. These centers and locations were changed for various reasons, including budget constraints, compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), school safety concerns, limited parking, changes in voter turnout... etc. Voters having a choice on where to go seemed like a really flexible option, but it looks like the results varied (maybe these voting centers should be at local Walmart centers? Isn't there a Walmart in practically every town? Maybe not.) Registering to vote is imperative! Let your voice be heard! Proper I.D. verification is also crucial... we need to ensure that is was actually your voice and not an impostor! Mass mail-in ballots with little to no valid verification processes can be and has been proven to be susceptible to fraudulent activity. Several states have proven models for Absentee ballot requests if you're not able to vote in person... Plan ahead. How about the idea of extending voting to more than just one day... so there isn't such congestion, long lines, and longer wait times at some of these polling stations?

Licensed minister? That is funny. I wonder if people actually understand what the definition and purpose of a license is?
