Doxies are smart but also stubborn, there’s some “cat” in their personality. My Dox’s vibe is “why do you want me to do this so badly? 🤨”. They’re not motivated by praise or approval, if they really don’t wanna listen they just get mad and bark back. 😂 It has to be a mutual transaction: “I’ll do your little trick… if you give me chicken. Otherwise, no deal.”

My Dachshunds don't do agility courses but they do jump logs or go under them chasing squirrels & rabbits when I take them hunting.
