I’ve searched for this video for so many times the last year, not finding it. Finally the KZbin algorithm connected us. I’m bookmarking this so hard right now 😄 Thank you for sharing.

This is the best version of the instrumental I’ve ever heard. Imagine a drum corp doing this as a ballad???

Really nice rendering. One note - whoever was playing the middle (non-melody) trumpet part was sometimes playing too loud and drowning out the melody (which was too soft). Only heard that a handful of times though. Exquisite arrangement, and excellent venue!

+ C'est très beau, un grand merci! O grand mystère, et admirable sacrement, que des animaux voient leur Seigneur nouveau-né, couché dans une mangeoire! Heureuse Vierge, dont le sein a mérité de porter le Christ Seigneur. Alleluia! fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/O_magnum_mysterium

I was lucky enough to get to play this as a chorale in brass time, and I get goosebumps and am brought to tears every time I hear it, not only because of how beautiful it is, but also because of the fond memories it holds for me

4:05 in particular. The suspension and growth of those chords were perfect.

It is so well done with the acoustics of the church. Great balance all the time. I am sure Morten Lauridsen would love it too.

Harmonic perfection. I feel closer to God whenever I listen to this piece. No group is closer to the organ than a well tuned brass group. Well done! Listen to a trombone choir play this selection if you want to experience heaven.

Oh my gosh. This is fantastic for Brass Choir. I've been considering arranging this for my woodwind quintet... wondering how that would sound.

This piece brings tears to my eyes every time. I love the pedal Eb the tubas play in the middle of this work of art. Reminds me of an organ playing the pedal with his foot. So incredibly powerful and moving.

NOTHING like the deep pedal tone that provides the foundation to the full brass choir above. Great phrasing and shifts in volume. I would like to see the "greats" of the brass sections in the Big 5 US orchestras playing this. It would be stupendous !!

Wonderfully played and conducted! I love how you just use your hands for the piece. It fits the style perfectly well!
