Not to shame anyone, but it’s crazy that more Black Women *purchase* hair in this texture and style as opposed to realizing that their own natural hair is capable of the same things w proper care and maintenance. You’ve been an inspiration among few for so long, Tyra. Thank you. Have you clarified your hair? If you use heavy oil, butters and gels, it hard to use soft hold products like mousse. But I’m promising you that if clarify and your ends are trimmed a mousse that for for Afro textured hair will work so well for twists or rod.

Me too…tried 3 years ago and hated the results lol. But trying to avoid heat styling after having to do a chop due to heat damage from monthly salon silk presses
