That's pretty cool. I got the X8 because it was so much better off road and I don't have the ability to turn easily enough in shops, but the off road tires will skid indoors in both cases. I prefer what I've got. I meet people with a similar design chair who regret their purchase compared to mine, since the paths they can take are so restricted and this has it... looks good.

We've heard from people saying they will never part with their X8, it certainly is one of our most loved chairs!

Happy 30th! I've used a V6 for over a decade and it's still going strong. It's the first chair I've ever been able to fully trust to never let me down. I'm now going through the absurdly complex process of getting my insurance company to approve a Magic 360 (US healthcare is just so broken). It's compact size is perfect and will make it much easier to navigate indoor spaces, while preserving the outdoor ability that makes my V6 so special.
@MagicMobility19 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback on your V6! And so glad also to hear you might be in line for a Magic 360 - wonderful news! The coding process in the US is incredibly confusing, but we are told the Magic 360 is technically coded as a Group 3 chair. We would LOVE to hear about how you went in this process. Has there been any update for you in the past month? Feel free to shoot us an email to [email protected] . Take care!

I got my first MM Frontier V6 AT 9 years ago. I never had to worry about the chair. It just did whatever I asked of it, and much much more! I retired that chair 4 months ago and got another MM Frontier AT V6, but this time with a LOT more upgrades. I'm a very very very happy/grateful dude because of MM and the Frontier V6 AT!! I named this one The Honey Badger, because it never balks wher ever I may wish to go!!

It is July 3rd 2024, I just found your company and started watching your videos on KZbin and I am very impressed with your chairs. I've been stuck in my bed for past 3.5 years and I just got my first electric wheelchair from a different company and I am not happy with it. I get stuck on level grass and gravel. Yesterday my neighbor asked me to look at his 4x4 truck and show him how to fix it. He had to use his riding mower and hook a rope from his riding lawn mower and tie onto front of my foot rest and pull me all the way to his house and then back to my house and help me get inside. I told him and my helper who cooks and cleans for me and I told them both, I need a wheelchair that has bigger tires or tyers as you down under say it, because I am fed up with getting stuck an not able to go anywhere with that chair. Do you have any dealer offices in USA near Missouri. I'm interested in the wheelchair you make. I seen your last video you posted was a year ago. Why did you stop making these videos to show us the new things you are doing on them. Thank you, I hope someone reads this comment on here. Happy 4th of July.

Hi Terry! Greetings from Melbourne, Australia. We're so sorry to hear about your situation. We certainly do still make our powerchairs, and we sell them in the USA. We have agents selling our chairs in every state. You can find a list of our US agents on the Sunrise Medical website here www.sunrisemedical.com/user-resources/find-a-dealer. Just so you know, next year we will launch our brand new XT powerchairs into the US. You can read more about our new chairs on our website www.magicmobility.com.au. Wishing you all the very best :)

i get mine in a months time. Will drive mostly on gravel and a bit on pavement, /snow in winter. I weigh 134kg. What tire pressure do you recommend ? (from Norway)
@MagicMobility4 ай бұрын
Hi there, how exciting for you! You can find the Norwegian owner's manual for our powerchairs here: www.magicmobility.com.au/resources/?language%5B%5D=norwegian&resource_type%5B%5D=owners-manual . You can find all the information on tyre pressure on page 34. For your weight in the Extreme X8 the chart says you should be running at around 6.7 psi. You should lower this for use on soft terrains like snow and sand. You can also find lots of other helpful information in this document. I hope this helps and enjoy your X8!

@MagicMobility5 ай бұрын
Thanks for your enquiry, Paul. The XT2 is just about to be released here in Australia. Early, real-world testing has seen the chair go as much as 40-45 miles on a single charge, with a 200 pound user.

Woo Hoo! Along with the new servo-assisted steering, is your latest power leg elevator compatible, and have the motors and controller been upgraded to waterproof rather than just splash resistant?
@MagicMobility6 ай бұрын
Thanks for your enquiry, Mike. No - the new CMPE is not compatible with either the XT4 nor the Extreme X8. The design of these chairs and being 4WD do not allow for it. However, the brand new XT2 is compatible with the new CMPE. On your second question; all our powerchairs have electric motors and therefore cannot be driven through water - this includes rivers, creeks and the sea. Our motors will likely never be waterproof for this reason. Thanks

Amazing, thanks for the comment and the feedback. The X8 upgrade, which is about to launch publicly in AU/NZ, has a whole new base and styling including a seven-piece cowl that is bolted on (rather than the one-piece fibreglass cowl on the X8). It also has steel bash plates at the bottom of the cowl where it could easily be snagged by obstacles like rocks/tree roots and rough or undulating terrain. Where abouts are you located?
