Thank you! Expecting pups anytime now, been watching a TON of videos (first timer and nervous). I thought c section was the only way and my vet and mentors have encouraged natural whelping, so I'm just getting ready! This video helped me a lot with my confidence level. It’s common for these types of breeds to have the babies head gets stuck in the birth canal. If you want to chance that and not get a C-section you’re gambling I’m not willing to gamble on my pet

French bulldogs are notoriously unhealthy. Natural births are more risky for them due to large heads and small hips. They are cute, but breeding these animals for profit is unethical.

My pug had nine puppies which is very unusual for her breed. She retained two placenta and got extremely sick- almost died. I took her to the vet hospital where the very skilled doctor removed the placenta, gave her a hysterectomy, and saved her life. I am forever grateful. I urge anyone considering breeding toy dogs to reconsider if you love your dog. Leave breeding to professionals.

oh i didn't realize there was a detailed course of training you can undergo to become a French bulldog breeder or a college degree you can get to become a "PROFESSIONAL" french bulldog breeder. I'm VERY sorry you went through what you did, but it's extremely narcissistic to claim someone doesn't LOVE their dogs just because they don't want to subject them to man made drugs and a major surgery that MAY not be necessary! Keep in mind that YOUR experience is just that, YOURS, and again I'm GENUINELY sorry you went thru that i'm sure it was devastating, but it's totally unfair for you to say what you did💔

Mine just had 4, I am hovering over them every few minutes. However, my momma dog doesn't like lying down in a way that exposes all her nipples so I have to help get them into position constantly. How can I tell if a pup is getting enough food? Not a breeder.
