As much as i LOVE RJD, Cillian Murphy would have bossed Dr. Doom. And coming offnthe back of Julian McMahons version, it would have been a revolution. Im still onterested to see how RJD does it, but I think its a loss not getting Cillian for this role

I'm neither for nor aginst rdj playing doom Cillian Murphy is a great actor especially as a sinister person. But doom is a complicated character whose ego is beyond narcissistic, Victor von Doom truly believes there is no one above his genius and his sorcery and the only person he truly respects is reed Richard's, he hates him but respects him. Doom is like if you fused Darth Vader and a classic James bond villain together, he is patient but becomes obsessive he has nearly conquered the multiverse several times even wiping himself from all existence just to make sure he will always exist. Everytime he gets all the power he needs he reaches for a little more then he unravels, fixes his own mistakes and starts a new project. Dr. Doom is one of my favorite villains because alot of his plans were just to be petty toward some one a man who made doom bots as powerful as doom at that or an earlier time that make heros think it's actually doom just for the face mask to fall off and a countdown and I have yet read a comic where stark or Reed or some one else like modoc have hacked his doom bots. Doom messed with everyone from villains to heroes uses the laws of countries aginst their country idk who has the bigger ego doom or the living planet ego lol so to get to the point I don't think we will ever actually have a good Dr doom excepts Dr doom so maybe some one like Christopher waltz or Viggo Mortensen could pull off part of dooms personality I would use a mix of Hugo weaving and William dafoe as a voice over for doom in his full suit and face plate or bring back Paul dobson
