Just stumbled upon this. Born in the South Shore Hospital (pictured) in Dec 1946, and raised in Weymouth until joining the Navy in 1965, Weymouth is no longer the town that I knew every square foot of as a kid and young adult. It proves that home is in the heart, not just a spot on earth. My sister (now in Duxbury) tells me that the Cameo theater is still there. That is all If need to know now living in Florida lol.

Thanks for this. I've been really homesick lately (currently living in OK), and missing "home" (born/raised in North Weymouth, down past Fort Point) and it was nice to see where I grew up. Thank you.

Today's cars are single-use and made to last short to continue polluting the planet, while electric cars have no future while this oil. If they were really interested in the planet, they would give away electric cars that batteries pollute more but what they are interested in is money, the planet to take in the ass as we are all going to die

It took a while, but the old incinerator has been removed, and old factory has been replaced with new apartments. Great Esker Park is still great.

In this giant graveyard of Volkswagen diesel cars so are there only 3 cars that are yellow!! This really shows that people have boring taste when it comes to choosing a colour for their car. Most of the cars are black, silver, white and red.

And it's only getting bigger. I drove by there Friday and they are cleaning more land to store more cars, and more fencing is going up. Just saw they have another storage lot set up around the decaying Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan. I wonder how many more there are...
