Can you help? I bought this exact part for my Kenmore 500 . After trouble shooting all the other parts this was the last one left that had to be the problem. I had a struggle putting the flat part of the dial on and properly lining it up with the white part that sticks out to secere that timer in place. When I put the knobs on that seemed wonky too but it went on. Then when I set everything up and plugged my machine and turned the knobs and prayed alot 🙏 this was it. Once I pulled to knobs to start it came off and it did not pull out or start the machine . Can u help plzzzzz

Bravos works ,but the spin cycle is very weak spin leaving clothes still wet . Replaced shift actuator, belt,pully, tub spline washer and splutclutch ? Any ideas suggestions/help

Just reach in and pull the wash plate off. Sure... I got the center bolt off, but the plate simply would not budge. Took a Dremel with a cutting bit and cut most of the plate off. Took a chisel and got all but the metal center piece that was seized onto the gear shaft. Soaked that in WD40, then took a 3-prong gear puller and lots of cussing to remove the center piece. This all took three days of YT vids and enough salty language to make a whole Navy proud. This will be the only time I'll ever attempt such a piece of work, next washer will just time its way to the driveway curb.

One additional important step: vacuum off the coils and everything else under there before you finish the reassembly! Only takes a minute, and since you’re already there… 5:08

My Maytag centennial spins really fast on spin cycle, it is so fast that I never go near it because I’m afraid it might jump at me. Anyone else have this problem? And if so, how did you fix it?

I have maytag centennial for 11 yrs np except had to recalibrate 2x This time it looks like shift actuator. If i were strong id pull it out and undo back and but the $20 part😊

Most likely is stuck frozen. If you have a steamer you can defrost it that way or unplugging the refrigerator for a day also works.

I have a lid lock light flashing. I replaced the lid lock part but the light still flashes. Anything on that?

Make sure all connections on that lid lock are tight. A flashing lid lock means that the lid is not closed. Worst case scenario, the control board went bad and it is not registering that lid lock. But, I would try to investigate that lid lock first before jumping to conclusions
