sorry to say malaysia will more likely go sri lanka way becos of practicing racial policies. it has not becos the minority race still hold economic power. if that is gone, it will b non- stop racial conflicts. i have relatives in Malaysia. is sad to c all these politicians let waste the countries abundance resources and people talents.

I have been to both places. I found Singapore to be more interesting and more modern but Kuala Lumpur was more like a working class city. Both had very friendly and diverse cultures. Malaysia is cheaper but still has good infrastructure. Singapore has a better banking system. I enjoyed both countries

KL has many interesting tall buildings in the world even though it is only underated city only now it is become popular

Lived in both cities, one thing that's not properly explain is the multi-culturalism. Growing up I thought NY was the place where people of all culture and religions can live in harmony. But to my surprise it's more segregated than I expected. My worst experience in this regards was in NY. To be fair some of my fondest memories with regards to this are also in NY. Not bashing NY but I nowadays prefer KL for its people.
