@@BervikGaming Thanks! I have a lot of axe and blade practice from God of War 2018. I do use it later on some enemies and learn to use all the combos with it but it's gonna be quite a few videos later. The reason why I don't use spear that much even now is that it feels like it's dependent on throws and detonations a lot. Stance change triangle moves are missing and unlike axe doesn't have stance change any moves. Guess I still needs tons of practice with it but it doesn't personally feel that satisfying to me.

Travelers are super fun but I just recently discovered that they balanced dark elf lord appropriately for this game and figured out how to enjoy Einherjar captains. This game is amazing!!

Lmao this is a recording from 3 years ago which I did cause someone challenged me not to abuse realm shift while trying to beat Sigrun. It was a huge controversy in the Gow subreddit. Realized I never uploaded it so I'm doing it now. But yeah Zeus Set in 2018 is unmatched. Nothing will come close.

Lmfao looks easy cause it's easy? Anyhow that was the wrath of the frost ancient runic attack. Other KZbinrs out there choose to demonstrate their skill by doing complex stuff once they realize gmgow is easy for them. I choose to stick to the basics.

8 hours? Maybe you rushed the story and reached here underleveled. Also maybe this was the first time you faced a traveler but I had already upgraded my gear by doing side quests and my strength stat is at the highest it can be while I'm using Amulet of Kvasir to get extended windows to punish this traveler. Still don't get how you could need 8 hours.

@talonskodowski9206 Fair point. As someone who doesn't usually use Atreus, seeing him unleash all his attacks for such a minor crowd of enemies was something out of the ordinary for me. So I clipped it and uploaded it.

@@BervikGaming Very soon. In the last 30 days I recorded like 200+ ragnarok videos. Also in this 2018 playthrough my level is about to rise where everything becomes too easy so I end up stopping as there's no point to it.

Ragnarök has so many bosses, many movesets for Kratos and I got so much unexpected love I decided to put my heart and soul into recording the videos. It took me 8 hours to record Gna kill and I've already beaten her at the highest difficulty twice for my previous videos.

@@ghoul9503 thanks! Not sure what to say I play with default settings on Ps5. Why do you think my camera is zoomed out? Cause I was able to see attacks to dodge for realm shift without looking? I used indicators to move the camera in such a way that attack becomes slightly more visible than normal. I'm constantly adjusting the camera.

@@riccithefree not only that he was at a higher platform where I couldn't reach him and then he immediately got me to kill my clean run. I usually keep trying until I get a clean run but I count this clean in my book cause the game cheated me out of this one.

I just don't think I'm that big a KZbinr to show the build but I showed the armor screen to show off some details to make it clear this is only NG+ (not NG++ or whatever) and that I'm not using Zeus chest piece. If you are interested to know the full build following details can be verified from the video - - I'm using radiance gauntlet and waist with dragon scaled breastplate as well as cursed empress handles. Enchantment set I'm using is alfheim. My strength value is also visible which is the most important stat here. Dauntless shield. I'm happy to fill in details that are not clear from video like I'm using maxed out gear in NG+. Using furious maul axe attachment and hind of the nine realms spear attachment. Rond of deflection for shield. Using surtr's engraving and enchantment that boosts damage in realm shift as well as muspelheim enchantment set.

@Youconix well the alfheim enchantment set bonus is visible on screen as a buff right after I do the last second evade. It shows up as alfheim strike and vanishes after I get a hit in. You are good, man. Just trying to help.

@sukanasgor well in order to strike her you have to use Atreus' arrows. Then you can get in three hits before she becomes ethereal again. When ethereal we can't hit her with anything but Atreus' arrows. She can move around and do her attacks that hurt us. Kind of BS. Not only that, encounters where there are multiple of these can quickly end in defeat. GodofWar doesn't feel like it was designed to play cleanly all the time.

@@NAMELESS-d9l yeah it's pretty good but I think in Ragnarök you have a lot more multi enemy combats where the serpent's snare might come in handier.

Until this playthrough I never used shock arrows as much. However I decided to try doing different things. Shock arrows are far more effective at controlling the annoying enemies and prevent them from stunning and true comboing Kratos. I've used light arrows before and when there are less enemies it can be superior. However shock arrows can apply shock status not only on the enemies you targeted the projectiles on but also on the enemies around them. It's far more effective when there's multiple enemies you need to contend with. I kind of miss not having this status in Ragnarök with the excessive amount of enemies that game throws at you. It's harder to manage multiple enemies in Ragnarök for me as a result.

@blazspur true i guess. but light arrows will still offer better crowd control if you can bait that crowd into a corner since you can hit them into each other and walls AND with the aoe from light arrows anything below a heavy enemy will almost instantly get stunned. its a matter of being able to lead the fight in the direction you want.

@elgato69696 yeah but that's much harder to do when there's 5 tatzelwurms who burrow underground and keep a specific distance unless they are trying to attack me. You can give it a shot. Go try this encounter with the same level I'm at (likely just level 4). Don't have any enchantments that boost stun damage. And use light arrows in this same situation. This clear you see isn't the first time I'm trying this encounter btw. I keep experimenting a tiny bit to show something that is new to me to in my videos.

@@x-Abraham-x2 Yeah it's very effective but I would still use weapons on the 100 enemies challenge of muspelheim lol. Weapons can use Permafrost and Immolation to boost their damage. Also they have runic attacks.

Dont forget the one where they regenerate fast. Shield’s good for stun
