Age old arguement of MMO's. Streamer world firsts are the only ones that matter. My LS in FFXI was one of the likely world first Dynamis Lord wins but we couldn't prove it because no one recorded it or streamed it. But because we weren't one of the cool HNMLS's on Asura, and we weren't JP, no one cared. We were a mix of NA, JP and EU players on Ramuh. And because we used a 3x kraken club "cheat", people said it didn't count.

What's your prog time estimate for this and 12s (both phases combined)?

E8S was pretty miserable and took us like 11 hours but we needed to really figure out the Revenge Blast stuff and a sane Icelit strategy. I think that 10ish hours is probably pretty reasonable for most groups, though, with stuff solved. I think if you have a healer OT instead of DPS you can skip Icelit pretty easily if you're abusing Revenge Blast well. E12S took us one lockout, but we were all really comfortable with the 12 mechanics in general. I think 6-10 hours for that one is probably pretty reasonable as well.

hey Liam, grats on the clear! Would you mind posting all the blue spells used in your E8S clear so i can share it with my static? I'm seeing it's a bit different from the usual dps loadout.

The only reason it's different is because we didn't know what was best yet so we were just freestyling. It's just DPS loadout with Mighty Guard, Diamondback, Wild Rage, and Revenge Blast. :)

First of all, your sole tank and healer are beasts for being able to maintain their cool. Granted everyone has WW in their toolkit but to have just one of each is simply amazing. Also, I mean, the sheer will and determination you guys did even getting all those spells after the servers came up is just pure skill. It's amazing. Great touch with the Final Sting of course, haha! Cannot go wrong with stinging the boss last second.

are the debuffs in the relativity phases completely random opposed to role based? I wasn't sure how they'd handle that like if mimicry would make you act as that role for mechanic purposes but if it's entirely random that makes basic so much harder in a fun way.

For the titan junction at the beginning, it looked like you just went for the normal job light party stack strat; does that mechanic have an "internal role" the way Gavel did if nobody dies, or were you just fishing for no double targets at the beginning since that looked kinda close to enrage anyway?

We just figured for Titan we'd do it in 4/4 splits and see if we survive. If we don't, it's the first mechanic and we just do it again. We weren't really too close to enrage, we were just playing super safe and had really unoptimized loadouts, haha.

Good job on the world first Liam! Got a question though. The tankbuster that happens at the start there. During it, looked like the tank did cover on you when you got the second TB. Was that a blu mage ability? Or was something else done so you didn't need to DB yourself.

It was Avail, which is like the inverse of Cover. Any damage you take gets transferred to the other person.
