Honestly aside from the fact that this show breaks the laws of reality and physics constantly, the premise was exactly what it was like growing up in the 90s-2000s as a kid. All the neighborhood kids playing outside, parents didn’t care where we were, you had the weirdos like Johnny, the bullies like Kevin, the weird but lovable foreign kids like Rolf, the kids tryna make a quick buck like the Ed’s, the boy who only hung out with girls, the spoiled little brats, the cool flirty girls, and that’s how every day was in the summer. The older you get the more you miss being a kid and the older I get the more I think “why was I in such a rush to grow up?” I really am happy I got to grow up in my most formative years without social media and iPhones and tablets, back when kids were kids and every day was a blessing.
