I came from a DGD react and have discovered some cool music listening to your other reacts! I hope you release more videos! Love how you break down the lyrics too. I would love if you could react to Magdalena Bay "Death & Romance"!

Such an underrated reaction. I very much enjoyed your reaction to this song.

Musically, I wasn't a big fan of the song when I first heard it as it was pretty heavy and angsty sounding. But now that I've listened to The Other One a bajillion times, this has now become my favorite song from the album. The seemingly disparate parts never clash, and actually end up enhancing each other quite nicely. If you haven't had a chance to see a video of the live version of this song, the intro plays up the whimsical synth parts in the chorus!

Ive been listening to these guys since Waking The Fallen when they were Metalcore and its just so amazing to see the evolution. Everything is so meticulous and unlike anything especially this song.

I almost stopped watching because of the audio, but I’m so glad I didn’t! I loved hearing you explain your thoughts, especially when talking about the mix and how it helps tell the story of the song and album. Excellent video!!

yes, it wasn't an organ but coming right from the guitar itself. really cool how they're exploring endless combination to create unique and organic tone from their instruments in this album

I agree with you about the layering/transitioning. Some people criticize them for that, but I think they do it in a clever and creative way.

Thx. You're a very smart girl, talking about the band's secret sauce. They are modern experts in changing stuff, so the song keeps being interesting, without changing the basic vibe. Peace.

Wacken had a lot of problems last year due to tons of rain - many people couldn’t get onto the festival area at all and were turned away because the ground was soooo saturated and it turned into a huge mudhole (more than usual). So we see some of the lucky ones that actually made it in the video here. And also the levels of mud before the festival had even started so Wacken is close to home, I've been an intern at the vet there a few years ago during my practical year and it was so funny to be there - there are signs of the festival around everywhere but it's mostly just a small, very rural town with tons of cows basically. Nice people who mostly embrace the "Invasion" once a year <3

This tune is infectious. You move the moment the music starts. You smile the moment you hear the children. You fall into the message. You find yourself agreeing with him when he says "I don't need you to save me." Super catchy earworm. It's hypnotic, it's magic. This is simple music genius. See the Live From Marigny video of this song. You'll be delighted.

Very astute commentary. Apparently, being a female- fronted band even in the 21st century has its struggles. Record companies don't hold bands captive like they once did. Amy still has a lot to say, and her beautiful voice continues to convey it. This band is timeless!!

Artifact the turn-intro to the album, broken pieces shine, must listen to both together. She also did a song with brung me the horizon which is BEAUTIFUL and all things distorted and a bit dark, one day the only butterfly’s left will be in your chest as you march toward your death. Yes that’s the song name. lol

This song hit me pretty hard, it came out during a time when a loved one was very ill, and lines like "A night where hope and despair seek and play together" and "This love is strong, I'm sure it wont stop" and "This love is strong and I will never let go" really hit harder then it would normally... Have no clue if translation is on spot but here we are... I have been a Babymetal fan since 2015-16 and none of their songs has hit harder then this one, mostly due to timing I suppose. Even today when my loved one is out of danger I can't listen to this without tearing up.

The song is very realistic not everything is sunshine and rainbows all the time even when you have found that self love there will absolutely be times you have doubts and I believe he’s trying to show that that’s ok I love this song if shows both sides of the coin and the feelings you get on a journey to self acceptance not just when you get there it’s pretty brilliant

People have been giving this band hell cause he doesn’t fit the stereotypical depressed metal core person he was on previous albums and what I say music is not just entertainment there is a person behind every song and he is a human being and who are we to say something if he wants to change his life if he wants to be happy every person desires some form of happiness in their life no matter who you are and if you are a real fan of someone then you should be happy that he or she is finding peace in his or her life and striving to be better like we all should *mic drop* 🎤

Love this band so much ❤ they mean so much to me highly recommend you also listen to might love myself along with riptide both give a deep look into the leader Caleb shomo and how this album changed him he went from this incredibly low unhappy person to learning to love himself for who he is and finding self worth
