Its actually horrific how Everett Ross *laughed* at the idea of Bucky having a lawyer which is "basic constiutional right" and a human right which everyone should be entitled to. Even terror suspects.

if it hadn't been a marvel film, the winter soldier could've been so sinister and trippy. like, along the lines of the scenes of the red room in aou. they could've framed the whole thing from zola's angle, showing how tws 'shaped the century', glorifying the chaos while showing how devastating it was in a can't-look-away way. with hints throughout about what actually happened to bucky, and little moments of him behind tws, then the whole thing falls apart when steve recognises him. and he starts off by going absoutely feral and hunting down hydra by himself (alongside the events of aou) before his good heart outweighs his rage and he settles down into hiding like how we found him in civil war
@jaceastwood53613 ай бұрын
you've really whittled the show's main themes down to their core and tied all the characters together with a song that applies to them all in different ways. aside from everything else, it made me think of how bucky will probably always be somewhat lonely even though he has people now, because like steve said in tws, 'it's hard to find someone with shared life experience'. maybe we'll see some of that in thunderbolts as he spends time with these other outcasts

This is amazing, but can I ask where all the other lines used in it are from? All they all from “Kings”? And if so, who were they all said by?
@vivelarevolution40053 ай бұрын
Thanks! And yeah, mostly: all of Sebastian's non-MCU lines are from Kings + the "I'm not your enemy" line, which is by another character (David Shepherd). The other lines are from Babylon Berlin (the ones in German) and Hunger Games Mockingjay.
@randomgirls70323 ай бұрын
@@vivelarevolution4005 That’s really resourceful and it gives the video a uniqueness instead of just using the usual MCU lines. It’s a really cool edit! Thank you!

They could have let my boy Bucky do something a little more heroic than save a van fall of a**hole politicians. Then again, he *did* also save Sam's ass a couple of times... and he was smiling and happy at the end, so maybe I will allow it. Bucky is happy, I am happy for him.

the way i physically gasped as the drop happened right into the overlay of those three screams together oh my god. I was not prepared and it huuuuuuuuuurt so much. The way that divides between the calmer/more introspective scenes in the beginning half and the violence through the end was just. I can't even. The way you find little camera angles/movements choreographed similarly to splice together in agonizing comparison is absolutely what i think of as the signature of your edit style and it hits like a gutpunch every time. brb sending this to all my friends to make them suffer too

I don't think I've ever seen a Bucky edit that uses Sebastian's scenes from "Kings" and I have to say I am in _awe_ - Jack's scenes and some of the things he's said like in this video work *so* well for Bucky. And the German at the beginning made me, as a native German speaker, do a double take because I rarely see editors do something like that. Everything about this edit is so good I love it so much. Well done!
